    We replaced garbage disposal, gas oven top and new refrigerator. They are all working well. Our consultant, Robert Buchanan is very friendly and knowledgeable for our needs.

    Consultant was the Worst. Do not use them at all.

    My consultant did not listen to me as to what I wanted. I had an unlimited budget and wanted to install a high end audio visual system in my media room and 6,000 sq. ft. home. He under designed the system every step of the way. Worse, when he designed, I had an electrician who was going to wire the whole system. After Geek Squad cutting holes and installing speakers, I find that I get better sound from a $69 portable speaker than the $,1000s of dollars in speakers. What a horrible experience.

    Austin showed up however I have not received anything in writing and we requested a quote and I have not seen it either. I have not had any type of follow up for the home consultation so I am a bit disappointed in the whole transaction.

    My consultant did not fully understand my vision

    I met with my consultant and I thought we had an understanding of what I wanted. I even emailed her a few times to try to elaborate on my expectations. When the installers arrived they informed me that they were not qualified to do what I wanted and moreover, that their install notes contined none of the instructions that I conveyed to my consultant. I am thoroughly disappointed even though the installers did a great job for the limitations that they worked with. If anything, have your consultant fully explain back to you on the review summary the full scope of your vision.

    Total and complete failure re: Wi-Fi setup

    We needed help upgrading our Wi-Fi system. Best Buy recommended and facilitated a purchase, stating it would be easy to set up. I attempted to set up but failed. I had to pay Best Buy $150 to come back out and install and was told this was the wrong modem and it would not work with my system. Then they couldn’t get my old modem to work either so I was left without any Wi-Fi. When I called back and emailed the person that consulted originally, he never responded. This was a complete disaster leaving me hundreds of dollars in the hole and far worse off than I started.

    We bought a new house, and I needed help with appliances, WiFi, and more, so I scheduled in-home consultation, things didn’t go as planned. Online automated system schedule an appointment Sunday afternoon and then the expert called me on Saturday that he doesn’t work on Sunday, but he rescheduled me on Sunday early morning, then he went to wrong address, so I ended up canceling the appointment, messed up my whole plan for weekend. I thought it would be great to have an expert come to my house and suggest what should I buy. Unfortunately this service didn’t work for me. Very much disappointed.

    Great quality and price

    Speakers are more compact in size yet have quality sound. My new set up is exactly what I hoped for and having someone come to my home and listen to what I wanted greatly assisted my decision making.process

    I had to reschedule. I called the store from my office but the two girls I talked to didn't seem to have much of an idea how to help me. I was finally told after being put on multiple holds and a transfer that I should have been given a paper with a number to call on it and I'd have to check that. I finally found a paper, once I was home, and called the consultants number. Left a VM. I got a call back VM confirming my original consult but again, I had to reschedule, so I called back and left another VM with my availability and requested a call or text to discuss. I never heard back. So I decided against a home theater purchase. I may still purchase a projector, but it no longer will be thousands of dollars in a home theater install and equipment.

    No follow up and poor planning

    Had several thousand dollars invested in stereo, tv, audio and security systems after 4 visits they still are not functional, some is not even installed yet and the rep has gone silent.

    We purchased an entertainment center , eg: TV, Amplifier, & turntable and we were very happy with the service. The gentleman did a great job of troubleshooting some issues.

    The REP who was to come for consultation started asking question like will you buy when i am there Do not know why he was eager to sell the product and not concentrate on consultation so i cancelled him

    I got Best Buy to do an in home consultation for my home theater. They came out and it went well. They said they would have a proposal in 2 days. 2 weeks later still nothing. Finally got it and the price was ok but the quote wasn’t right for what I asked for. The they said they needed an installer to come out to make sure they could do the job. Long story short, no follow through and they never came. A month later I went to a different best buy and told the magnolia guy what happened and he apologized and seemed disgusted that it was not done. He took down my number and promised me that if I didn’t hear from him the next day I would for sure hear from his manager. His store was “different” . Guess what. No calls. No follow through. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

    Best Buy = Worst Buy

    Great in-home consultation with outstanding product knowledge, but wrong measurements led to a product purchase that didn’t fit. Product return led to a loss in bundle pricing and a undeserved decrease modification to reward certificate value. And the benefit of matching brand and style in the bundle purchase was lost. This salesman literally wasted my money after working hard to save it. The company Best Buy has failed to put the customer first in rectifying any aspect of this deal gone bad and deserves negative stars.

    Best Buy cancelled at last minute

    The consult never happened. I was called the evening before the day it was to happen. I was told someone would call me sometime in the next two weeks to reschedule. The consult was for installing a new tv in a home we just purchased. The work was time sensitive. I found someone else to do it and was lucky to get it done in time.
