    Best Home Advisor Service - Blow it up!

    My In-Home initial meeting was fine but all aspects of support after that were subpar and the representative who was supposed to be attentive to my needs was far from. After spending over $12K in 2019 and then to have another spend up to $6K for my new project the representative could not have been more disengaged. Towards the end of the project I had to engage at a higher level just so I could order the equipment. After then getting the install found that I needed to order additional equipment and no one returned my call or text. I will not use another home advisor from Best Buy again!

    Have not found much value in this service. No longer am I told about specials and add ons. Several items were left off of the proposal and they do not respond by email

    After the in home consultation the order was misplaced and shipped to the wrong address in a different city. Jack told me he'd take care of it and never did. I contacted be home owner of the address where the speakers, Sonos connects etc were shipped. I drove out there and picked up one package, all others were missing. When I informed BestBuy I was I formed they would refund for the missing equipment and come to install the order. They missed their appointment, didn't call, didn't contact us at all. I then informed our contact at BestBuy, Jack, that I wished to cancel the order and take my business elsewhere and requested a full refund. He said he'd take care of it. Weeks later I still have not received a full refund for the missing products or install.

    I took the day off and made arrangements to have my contractor come out on initial appt date, only to have the delivery/installation delayed then cancelled on the day of!.......

    Geek squad came for a review and consultation. The individual was as nice as can be. She set another team would come up with a plan and come back. Never heard from her again!

    From the associate that gave us the quote to the associate that came out and did the installation everything was just as stated in the contract they did a great job and I would use them again.

    This was supposed to be a Ring security camera installation. The technicians arrived with an attitude I can only assume due to my humble 1890's home, exacerbated by the fact that I could not load the app which was not mentioned in the appointment prep text or email. By the time I managed the load they had left the camera and were on their way informing me to reschedule. I cancelled the deal.

    Joshua was very nice however, I was very much upsold on product i did not need and did not work and ended up having to have the geek squad come out multiple times to get me set up correctly. Thank Gosh for Luis the geek squad member who helped me the most. I am still not completely set up as the TV mount that was originally sold to me was expensive and is not at all what I want as it sticks out very far from the wall. I am currently waiting to reschedule an appointment to swap it out.

    This was not what I wanted.He hooked up the receiver, but I didn't get what I had expected. I thought I had ordered a special hadndset so I could havery thing on one handset. I wanted to be able to go from TV to DVR, to VHS player. The other problem was that I did not get a receipt from him when I maid my payment on my visa card. Please check this out and find why this happened.

    I bought the google wi-fi wireless set up to put one each on my houses' floors. I was told that they would send out a Best Buy consultant to assist me with this very simple task of getting the fastest wi-fi to work with. I informed your salesman ( a very nice gentleman ) that I have a 20 year old flip phone and I do not text.He informed me that the guy would assist me with setting up my new product. The gentleman you sent out NEVER even took his coat off. Told me he was not allowed to direct me or assist me in hooking up my $300.00 purchase. Stayed 10 minutes and left with his coat still on. Needless to say you got you product back with my coat on. I would not recommend this service to a soul. Thanks for listening. Fred Thivener

    At the 11th hour I received a call from a best buy representative saying in essence he wasn't in a position to help me and to call geek squad. No one showed up and the geek squad rep couldn't help with Bose audio products.

    I did not need assistance from a home consultation, but the store sales person insisted I have a home consultation. Once my delivery was scheduled, it changed 3 to 4 times due to items not being available. Not even a good month later, my sound bar has falling off the mount. My experience was the WORST I would not recommend Best Buy.
