    We were in the market to upgrade our in-home audio/video system but completely at a loss to which components to choose. With the assistance of the “In-home Consultation” we were not only given recommendations to which products best suited our objectives, but they also took into consideration the environment in which they were to be installed. For example, the amount of glare on the TV from direct sun, the type and location of the sub-woofer and speakers based off the size of the rooms, plus the proper internet speed to ensure a good streaming experience. Not only did we get exactly what we desired but they also made the purchase and installation seamless. Therefore, we feel this service was totally invaluable!

    After having major issues with our Wi-Fi system, BB came to my house, did a full and thorough evaluation of my situation and recommended a new MESH system. It’s now installed and I have perfect reception throughout the house, garage and surrounding areas. Three different people came to the house led by Cameron. Can’t remember the other 2 names but all 3 were professional and great to work with. Also, Best Buy Total Tech is well worth the price. It’s like have your own personal Tech Advisor available 24/7. I highly recommend their service.

    We were looking to add in ceiling speakers to take advantage of Dolby Atmos effects with movies, shows, games, etc and while I knew there was access above the desired room it is always best practice to have a member from geek squad to complete a consolation to ensure there are not any additional concerns or hidden cost. Fortunately for us there were none and the team was able to arrive install the in ceiling speakers and do so respectfully. Would for sure recommend this team again for future work.

    Trainee disappointment

    First of all my installer was great,but he is a trainer for possible future techs which takes longer than if he just did it himself. In total , I believe there were 4 different trainees that didn't have a lick of potetial that I could see. Way to much time was wasted trying to train instead of install. Everytime I added something I would have to wait another 2 weeks. The last time he came he never finished. After calling the salesman he said he would set up a date for the same installer to finish, but after 2 weeks passed I still did not have a call back. I called the store & miraculously the salesman called back. He personally came out & did some trouble shooting & solved some problems , but never set a date for the tech to come back outto finish. I then called him again & did not receive a call back until after I called the store for 3 days.I was able to speak with a manager the first day I called & then the salesman called again. I did not want to deal with him anymore after not getting the results I wanted. Another few days went by & the manager never called back. So , he had another manager call me back & set a date for 3 weeks later. It is just a few simple things. You would think that after you spend $40, 000 that you would be able to get a tech from the geek squad out here a little sooner. I realize that I made some changes & numerous upgrades over the course of the whole process,but I just want this whole thing to be finalized & all I can do is wait. If your going to use best buy your best bet would be to tell your salesman that you only want a full time geek squad tech without the trainee,because it takes much longer.

    Awesome in-home convenience to be able to fully explain and show my overall theater system goals in the room where it was intended to be used. The recommendations and follow-up support from the In-home consultation representative was excellent. The resulting solution has provided an awesome sound experience! SONOS System was easy to setup using the SONOS App, but I did run into one small difficulty when trying to add the SONOS One's surround speakers. Tip: Make sure you add the PlayBar and sub before adding the surrounds! Representative was very polite and knowledgeable, provided excellent follow-up support on system setup questions and even provided a price match reduction based upon Black Friday deals that occurred within 30 days of my purchase. This was unexpected but added even more to my overall satisfaction.

    Consultation, Configuration and Installation

    I was looking for new AV components for my new home, specifically the basement where I wanted to hook up 2-CD Jukeboxes, turntable and PS4 Race Simulator. Matthew from BestBuy came in to scope the job and provided a detailed plan to comeplete it. This required connecting my PS4 to the race monitor and splitting the signal to a much larger TV on another wall for others to view while the "driver" is racing, which required snaking a 100ft HDMI cable through the ceiling and walls. It all works tremendously and was fully connected in under 4 hours. I highly recommend Matthew and the Geek Squad.

    Outstanding Customer Service and Product Selection

    I am currently working w/ the Best Buy Geek Squad team to install several key items: 3 TVs w/ soundbars, RF systems, universal remotes, new modem and web network and all the associated cables, mounts etc. The inhouse Geek Squad consultant has been fabulous. She is thorough, outstanding communicator, recommended appropriate products within the price point I wanted. She has done a great job coordinating the team for install and followup appointments. This project has lots of variables, as we're also working w/ Comcast on the installs. Every individual team member has been professional, easy to work with, creative in their solutions and competent. I highly, highly recommend the service and team. I've been primarily working w/ the Enfield, CT team, but we've also been working heavily with the Holyoke, MA team. They have all been super.

    Gerald - sales rep goes to any length in helping!

    Gerald is an asset to BestBuy. From the beginning this helping tendency was something that I haven't noticed in any other sales rep. When I got stuck in the buying process, he even visited our home and went through the order and set it right. Though the installation team messed up few times, Gerald was kind enough to guide me and get things right. I was even able to call on his personal mobile - something I haven't heard of!!

    We needed a consultation with an expert to help us choose a new TV and to give us options to hang the new tv. The expert was very friendly and super knowledgeable about TV’s and wall mounting options. He was able to answer all of my numerous questions and gave me a TV recommendation based on my budget and needs. Never did I feel any pressure to make a purchase. Great overall experience and I would highly recommend the free consult with the expert to anyone looking to make a major purchase such as this.

    We came from another store to Best Buy. Shopping experience was completely night and day. The store staff approached us quickly to check in and see if we had any questions. He was knowledgeable about the products and we were able to make a decision within minutes. He was awesome walking us through available protection plans, and what to expect for the delivery process. He should be training staff on customer service! It was an expensive purchase but we felt more comfortable just based on his service.

    Russ designed our in-home theater and whole house audio system and we love it. We has a deep understanding of what equipment will in different applications. More importantly with Russ leading your Best Buy team installs are convenient and exchanges or upgrades are hassel free and if there is an issue he is there to help - well after the sale. I highly recommend Russ Mcneish for any type of A/V project you have in mind.

    Our in home consultant was excellent. Very professional, systematic in assessing our situation and needs. He respected our wishes and incorporated them into the project. I had equipment (speakers) which he incorporated into the build. There was no effort to up sell. He had no hesitation in price matching an online competitors price on one component. We were very satisfied with the consultation. I have no doubt the "build" will be excellent. One of the best consultations I have received. Did not come across as a sales pitch. Provided justifications and explained each recommendation.

    We wanted to update and improve our home technology and started with our internet and WiFi systems. We are pleased with this part of the update. We will eventually pursue additional suggestions that Ross gave us. We felt it was most important to start with internet and WiFi systems.

    I wanted to thank my Best Buy consultation team for the amazing care and follow ups on our new refrigerator, washer/dryer order. We really appreciated the home consultation and knowing that Best Buy team really did their "Best" to make sure we not only got the best deal but that we were valued customers. The team followed up with us during the entire process from ordering, delivery, installation and post delivery to make sure we were happy. I can't thank Gary and Marvelin enough for their superior customer service we also signed up for Best Buy total tech and saved a lot of money. Thank you Best Buy!

    I had excellent help form two of the sale associates at Santana Row Magnolia store when I purchased my B&W center channel speaker. Robert provided great help in product demo comparisons and the sale process. Tom helped me with the after sale support in how to remove those four tiny red plugs in the speaker terminals. Those red plugs were hidden behind another removable part in the speaker terminals and they were not described in the user manual at all. The tiny red plugs need to be removed before I could finally insert my bi-wire cable with banana plugs.

    We just bought a new home and needed to purchase an entertainment center for the living room. Staffen Hollis helped us pick out the right equipment for what we were looking for and coordinated the installation.     Our project was going horribly. Our sales rep basically left us high and dry while our system was grossly under performing. I got the name of his boss, Jimmy Elevazo, and reached out to him. Jimmy literally saved our project. He advised me on the route that should have been taken in order to meet my expectations. Jimmy is fantastic. The review is a 4 because of him and would be a 5+ if he was on our project from the start. I would also like to note some of the great workers after Jimmy took over, Robert, Steven and Jacob.

    Excellent Experience - Recommend - Would Do Again

    We were looking for a ceramic glass cooktop with a downdraft vent to enhance out kitchen. A competitor (with a mid-west state name) came out and measured the hole in our granite countertops and said the item we picked would fit. It did not. And they measured for it. We remembered getting some excellent help from Best Buy in the past and stopped by. They recommended their free (yes, free) consultation services. Amanda came by, did some research, and found a cooktop that would fit the existing hole. We ordered the cooktop and had it installed. Looks great. Works great. We've already recommended this service to friends. I mean, how can you go wrong with a free consultation?

    I needed all new appliances for my kitchen. After checking the website, I went in to the store to ask a few questions and place the order. They were able to assist me exploring all options and answer questions. The shipping date was scheduled at the time of purchase and arrived on time. Everything was quick, easy, transparent, and correct. Products are undamaged all work well.
