This consultation was of no use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Though I have specifically reserved in home consultation, on the day of appointment I was waiting for him and guy called and started explaining entire security system. When I said it was supposed to be in home consultation, he simply declined to accept his mistake and said it is suppose to be online only. And now I am getting feedback for in home consultation.

IN-HOME CONSULTATION

Consultant focused on my home auto video system, Control 4, only. He set up another sales person to talk to me about that but never got back to me about anything else! ??

In-Home Consulation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The in-home consultant arrived as scheduled and we quickly explained the situation and what we would like. The consultant understood and said he would send us a quote. A week later I had to email the consultant and ask about the quote. The consultant replied that he had the quote but for some reason never sent it. He then sent the quote. We revised the quote and sent it back. We never heard from the consultant about the revisions, so we just went into the store and ordered the equipment and installation. The TV mount turned out to be a very poor choice — but it’s on the wall.

I do not recommend at this time.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The 2 guys who showed up to install the $7000++ of appliances I bought from Best Buy were nice and courteous but they were totally incompetent and I am not happy with the job at all. I have been trying to have Best Buy return to install them correctly but so far I've received no satisfaction.

Not what I expected from an In-Home consultation.

The consultant listened, set up a store visit but didn't hear what I was saying. New to streaming and such, devices he directed me to were the most expensive and not what was best for me.

Dissatisfied customer!

Which we bought from her over $2000 worth of equipment, however after we agreed to purchase the equipment I had several questions and issues with our purchase. I emailed her and left her voicemail messages to her. She never responded to any of my messages. Definitely would not have made the purchase if I knew the service was going to be this poor!

Poor installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed help with Thermostat installation. Representative was nice but failed to do a thorough job. He left the thermostat not mounted on the wall And stated he was not allowed to drill the wall to complete the job. When I arrived home noticed there was a metal plate that is used to mount the thermostat on the wall. I had to take everything apart and reinstall. Its an easy job so not a big problem but im sure my parents would not be able to correct the issue. He also took the screw driver that comes with the thermostat.

Less than a Month and NOT WORKING

Delivery was flawed as all was not assembled and few instructions given. Did not work well so called and got repair person two days later and checked - seemed ok. Last week temperature fluctuating wildly (10 degrees) if door opened for over a minute to load or actually use the fridge. Now new repair eperson scheduled for next week, We want a NEW fridge and want to upgrade to a more reliable brand.

We never received a call from the representative.

But we decided not to complain due to the pandemic. I received the confirmation email and waited to receive our phone call. We never received a call or an email from anyone. So we ended up making our own decisions and bought our equipment somewhere else. We were very disappointed with the service we received. We have never had Best Buy treat us like this a n the past.

Missed the appt window and downhill from there
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had two requests, recommend a wall mounting kit and schedule install, and get instructions on how to utilize the smart features on my new Sony Bravia. Was told to basically just pick any wall mount and it would be fine, and he would quote me a few and schedule the install, neither of which ever happened. Never heard from him again. For the second item, he informed me that none of the smart features really works and aren't really useful and not to worry about them.
