Received good honest evaluation before purchases

It never occurred, despite my calls and emails
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I scheduled an in-home consultation (via phone) for Father's Day afternoon while my son was napping. After about 15 minutes when nobody had contacted me, I called the number for my consultant. It went to his voicemail. I left a message. I then e-mailed him. No response. The next day, I found a general e-mail for in-home consultations and asked what happened. Again, no response. The very first follow up to my call and multiple e-mails was a request for a rating/feedback. You can understand why I have nothing but negative remarks. I'm planning to go with another retailer.

Waste of Time.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was worried about the size of refrigerator that would fit in my house so I had an expert come out to measure and when the refrigerator arrived it did not fit. They had already cut the cords to my old refrigerator so I had to keep the refrigerator that didn't fit until they could bring me another one. So frustrating to have to take off three days of work to get the right refrigerator.

QUESTIONS FOR ADDITIONAL HOOKUP

Consultant never sent me recommendations discussed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The consultant came to my house on November 16th. We discussed everything I wanted to do. She said she would send me an estimate of what it would cost to get my wifi increased downstairs and out in my backyard. I never heard anything. I called the IHA number on December 3rd and was told to call the consultant on her direct line. I called her immediately and it went straight to voice mail. I left a message for her to contact and let me know why I never heard from her. Again I got no call back, email, or anything. I thought they could help me with my wifi and SMART home needs/questions but if they will not follow up, I would not waste my time.

In Home Consultation

I was asking about a home security system and they didn't even walk around the house or yard to look at the location. I was promised an email back with a quote that I never received. Very disappointed!

Unhappy

Once we started having problems, the Home Consultant has been impossible to reach. Since the day before Thanksgiving when the first appliances were delivered (and the refrigerator was NOT) until December 9th, the day after the WRONG refrigerator was installed, I had texted him almost every day with no response. After Dec. 9th, I have yet to hear from ANYONE at Best Buy regarding what is to be done with replacing this appliance!! I want to be contacted by the corporate office ASAP!!!!

Audio was setup without AM/FM radio

Also Best Buy sales person gave a quote of $180 but actually charged $200 for the yearly Tech support. Several calls to the sales person are not returned.

Poor post sale service

Terrible customer service

I left several messages and still nothing back... the best buy total tech keeps saying someone will call me back too, but this has been my third time calling and still I don't get any call backs from anyone. Terrible service. Would not recommend.

Not a good experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We scheduled an appointment for home security system; 30 minutes after the appointment window was over I called to check on ETA. Apparently the technician didn’t receive the appointment request, so didn’t call or show up. While We’am did come by the following evening for consultation, he didn’t really provide guidance for best placement of cameras and lights- he just recommended Ring. I have followed up twice with email but haven’t received a response or quote. We have used Best Buy Geeksquad in the past, but this was not a good experience.

I'm glad you were able to get another advisor out next day. You should be aware that because Best Buy is not a licensed security company, we are not able to tell you where to place the cameras. Your sales associate should have explained this to you and I apologize for the lack of communication there. Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The consultation was wrong, cost me 10,000 in equipment that is not compatible with what i needed to be done. Then the consultation person and geeks people are not in line on the products sold to me, ans couldn't wire the products. I know the sale people work of commission, but please make sure they are talking to the geek squad before they sale products that cant be used
