One House? Forget BestBuy

Had Potential, but no follow up

He called me the next day to setup a potential install date and said a quote would follow. I never got the quote. I had to call multiple times. Got the person who did the consultation and he said he would send it. Still didn't get it. With the install date quickly approaching, I had to call and go into Best Buy multiple times to try to cancel the apt the day before. I finally got a call from the initial reviewer that day who informed he was having some personal issues and apologized for not getting back to me. I canceled the install. Lots of time wasted

They did not know how to mount TV on brick wall

Sonos incompatibility

Disappointed

Due to covid 19 the consultation was done virtually. The advisor was personable. I went room by room showing and explaining what my goal was.. he said he had to do some calculations for the projector and get prices on all the components. He then stated that i would get an email with the quote. After waiting two weeks for his report. I called to inquire and was told they would reach out to the advisor and have him send it immediately. Its been 2 months and still no quote. I ended up sourcing the project elsewhere.

Questionable

Scheduled to come around 5;15 showed up 5 on the dot. Was still working so he waited. We talked about what i wanted to do but then never followed up with options to buy.

Terrible follow up

I told him that on most shows the peoples mouths worked but no sound, lips moving no sound . I was told that it was probably how some of the shows were processed! Made no sense! He left days later no resolution!

Poor follow through

But he said he would call me later that evening with info about someone who would come out to take measurements (I thought Blake was suppose to take measurements?). He didn’t call that evening, so i reached out to him the next day. We set up a time for someone to come out to take measurements. I work night shift (and sleep during the day) so I requested someone to come out early. I waited until 10:30, did not get a call so I messaged Blake and cancelled. We’ve emailed and he said he would try to find someone to come out early, but that was weeks ago and no follow up ...

Service Sucks!

I took them all back and will not come back. Not only did they not show up each time but they failed to even call to explain why they did not come. Very poor service!

Disappointing In Home Consultation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I set up the consultation,I was asked how much I wanted to spend. I reiterated this amount to the consultant, and was surprised to get back a quote almost double what I wanted to spend. I replied to the e-mail that this was really too much, and asked for some alternatives, while providing some examples like “I don’t think I need an $1800 screen when Best Buy has a $260 screen available.” Two months later, I finally heard back from a different consultant asking what I thought about the original quote. I replied to him that I was disappointed with the quote and listed the reasons why. Never heard back from him, either.

Whole procedure was a total waste of time.

Did consult, sent a recommendation and never heard or seen her again. Tried emailing her, no response, texted her, again no response, called and left message, again no response. Went to local store and inquired what was going on and they had not a clue and told me I was wasting my time. What a failure on Best Buy’s end. I won’t be going back and will tell all my friends and family not to waste their time like I did.

In Home Consultation

After the specialist came over and offered his recommendations. There was no follow up, never received the estimate, never heard from Best Buy following the visit.
