Wanted a new modem and router

He never got back to us with a quote

No experience ?or they just don't care?????

I still don't have an installed trim kit and they sold me a $2000 microwave what a rip off!!!!!! I think the knowledge and expertise and outsourcing that Best Buy is offering is definitely the worst

No one followed up

One guy showed to survey our home for literally 5 minutes. We live in an 8000 sgft home and he only looked at the first floor and said someone would call me. That was months ago. Really poor communication and BBY is not serious about their smart home sales and service. What a joke good luck competing with a company that actually wants to sell something

My advisor was completely unreachable.

He quoted me a price for a new appliance and never set up an opportunity for me to actually purchase it at that price and schedule its delivery along with the other appliances I ordered from him during the consultation. He completely disappeared! I called the home advisor main number at Best Buy two days ago to “escalate” the matter and I’m still waiting on a return call from a manager to get this resolved.

Our Consultant Was Unresponsive After the Visit

However, he did not get the order right, forgetting to include installation, and he did not respond to two e mails and two calls. I ended up needing to go back to the store to get the order changed and to arrange for installation, which is occurring 3 weeks after his visit.

Disappointing

I did get a quote after 2 months of waiting for it. I asked to proceed with an order for a double wall oven and a downdraft cooktop including installation. NOTHING. I did not even get a response that the in home consultant was interested and did not take my order. The in home consultant knew that my oven was completely broken. many months passed by. Finally I just ordered it myself online. I will never use your in home consultation again I dont think. Just a complete waste of time.

Could not get services done.

Tried to get in touch with him in many different ways, calls text, emails, even went back to the store and asked regarding the services I requested. I was trying to have to mounted TVs , a surround system install, security cameras, security system, smart locks install and some smart lights on a pool area. Could not get the services done so had to go somewhere else.

Best Buy representative never followed up.

Made several recommendations to be included in a proposal. I never received a proposal even after emails sent to JR Woodard. I also followed up with my local Chesterfield store to ensure JR was still employed. I was told yes and that he would get my message and return my call. Never received a response. Really disappointed as I have been a loyal customer of Best Buy consultation services and product purchases based on previous excellent service.

Waiting for months

A representative named Max showed up and was polite and respectful. However that's all the further the process has gone. I made an attempt by text to contact him a week after my quote should have been provided but never received a response. I still have not received a quote or any contact from best buy or the rep that came to my house. What started out as a nice process has been nothing but a total waste of my time. Would not recommend Best buy for in home services.

Consultant seemed disinterested
