Best Buy sucks

Worse advice ever

I am in Stockton and they took a week to recommend I go to Roseville and buy a universal remote. I went to the Stockton store and received amazing advice. Purchase $800 worth of speakers and up and running the same day. It really is not that hard to give good service.

Though the advisor was pleasant, I didnt feel they were all that helpful. I feel I would have been better off talking to people in the store instead. I also had problems picking up part of the order which did not imp[rove the experience

Horrible experience.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Magnolia employee was unknowledgable, told me Cat5e cable would transfer 4k for my projector and it didn't. This made me make extra trips to the store. This guy can't even get a me refund on a service they didn't provide, mounting my screen. I've texted him multiple times and he's told me I'll get it. Don't deal with or trust magnolia employees.

Scheduling mess

There were multiple reschedules and lot of confusion created through out the process. The Technicians themselves were good and had done decent job. But the overall scheduling process was really bad.

Horrible Service

I called him a week later to remind him to send the recommended appliances based off the measurements and he still did not provide any information. I gave up! I shouldn't have to chase down a person for a sale.

The advisor did not follow-up even after I called.

That was 4 days ago. The advice he gave me was incomplete and inaccurate causing me to return purchased electronic equipment. I would not trust Best Buy advisors again for advice.

Not responding to emails or phone on my order

Because of this i lost 5 days waiting and again i have to reschedule an appointment

In-Home Consultation

Had to chase him for almost two weeks to receive. He never followed up.Received a email from from totally different Rep looking to follow up with me on his visit.

Never Showed Back Up

Advised me what product to order and told me to call him when it came in. He would come back out and complete the receiver configuration. Never heard anything back from him, or my Best Buy consultant that I worked with.

Poor Experience - Would not recommend
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The oven didn't fit, the refrigerator didn't fit, and the refrigerator that was moved was left in pieces for me to put back together. 8 days after the installation date there is still no resolution, and it's difficult to get a response. I know other people that had the same issue. I would not recommend this service.

He was a no- show!

We agreed to meet another time and that he would call later that day to reschedule. He never called nor contacted us. We chose to work with our local Best Buy instead. I know this isn’t typical of Best Buy but speaks poorly of the tech.

Crazy expensive options-not realistic

Specifically, I was looking for advice on how to upgrade based on the setup in my home. The "expert" was way too cocky. He was talking about $25k speakers and $40k upgrades. Really he lost my interest early in the discussion. Maybe right for some, not for me... Complete waste of my time.

Absolutely no follow through

They didn’t return emails or calls. Later I heard we were turned over to another person who never returned emails or called us. I will never use a Best Buy In-Home Consulant again. And by the way this all happened prior to the Coronavirus.

Very Poor Service

Worst experience ever

The minute the inhome consultant secured the purchase, he didn't bother to help resolve my order issues which were so many!!! Please check my order notes and you will see all the horrible experiences i have had with this purchase. Recovery was poor and inadequate
