Fixed tv mount/ unable to access ports on back of
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a tv from Best Buy and purchased a fixed mount. Everything seemed fine until I got a new devise that needed to be plugged into the tv and discovered the ports were inaccessible due to the fixed mount. I was not informed that the tv I was purchasing had ports behind the tv and I would need an adjustable mount to access. I called Best Buy and was told they would send someone out to replace the mount and that the techs “had mounts in their trucks” The day of service I received a call that said it was a mistake and I had to go buy my own mount and that because the return date had passed for my fixed mount I would have to pay for a new mount completely out of pocket. I thought it was ridiculous that because I was not informed of the need for a movable mount and didn’t discover the problem in time I was being charged. The gentle man on the phone offered me a discount but it was still going to cost me an additional 60$. (And of course a day of my time for service) neither of which I have. I have spent thousands of dollars in the past few months at Best Buy and I am a total tech member. I am pretty unhappy with the way this has all played out.

Our advisor cancelled without notice.

He came and we have not heard back after several

We have fixed our own system and it is working just fine.

I am not pleased

Never scheduled/installed the tv on my own.

Terrible service and follow up

Sales never called back to finalize purchase

There is little to no exchange of work scope from sales to installers. What a joke.

I called geek squad for in home repair

horrible follow up

Do Not Use AJ as your Rep!

poor follow-up, lost my biz

Endless promises of calling me and by the time he did (3+ weeks later) I had already chosen crown audio bc of it.
