Not much helpful.

And also had one of the Consultant gave me wrong information making to make purchase decision for tv and ended up canceling the order due to the unprofessional experience with the consultant. Thankfully the supervisor called me back to sort out the issue and ordered the tv and sound system again after waiting for long time. Hopefully everything would turns out good this time.

We are so happy with the TV we purchased!

We were initially browsing when one of the associates, Mike, approached us and offered his assistance. Mike was extremely knowledgeable, guiding us through the various options available. He carefully explained the strengths and weaknesses of the TVs that we were interested in, which helped us make a well-informed decision. Ultimately, we chose to purchase the Samsung - 77” Class S90F Series OLED 4K UHD TV. It has a beautiful sharp picture with vibrant colors, wide viewing angles and an anti-glare screen. After selecting our TV, we met with Seth, the store’s designer. Seth discussed the best location for our new TV and advised us on additional requirements for installation. He then finalized all the arrangements for delivery and installation, making the process straightforward. Chris and Josh took care of delivering and installing our new TV. The installation was completed smoothly, without any issues. We are extremely satisfied with our new TV and with every aspect of our purchase experience at Best Buy. Based on our positive experience, we would recommend Best Buy to our family and friends.

In Home Consultation not all it's cracked up to be

It is obviously a component sales job as once the installer was here, I was left with parts that I did not need, and now its my responsibility to drive to the closest store (not close) to return them.

Left me in tears

The consultation team told me that it didnt matter about the waterline. They will installed it. The installers...a 3rd party says they can not hook up a plastic waterline. When i called corporate...they said the installers are correct. Not to mention the measurements were wrong. Not they want me to pay an additional 700 dollars but i still can not use the water and ice

Poor and unprofessional service

However, after that the system started malfunctioning and I was unable to reach her despite of multiple tries. At one time, she made promise to call me back to return the items, but never reached back. I had to go back to the store and meet another associate to get my project completed.

Not impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I asked for a consultation on best placement and set up for a new TV I planned on ordering through Best Buy, which included upgrading the internet connectivity because of the new smart TV. The guys who came to the house were knowledgable, but the proposal they came up with was way, way over the top in bells and whistles and price. I have Total Tech, but was told that would not bring me any kind of discount. When I asked for a scaled-down proposal, the Magnolia Home rep never got back to me. Very disappointing, and not consistent with my usual great experience with Best Buy.

Agent came out and never heard from him again

The Best Buy agent came to the house and evaluated my son’s room and said he’d send me his recommendations. That was 4 weeks ago. I’ve sent 3 texts, two emails, and a voicemail. No response whatsoever. I guess my son doesn’t get his lighting for Christmas, thanks Best Buy!

Not Good

I now buy products online and somehow they are tagged to a “consultant”. Take the good with the bad and support your customers in all scenarios.

Above and Beyond -GREAT

We picked up a 75" class Ultra HD smart TV and were going to get a sound bar surround setup that was on sale. We talked to Stephen in the South Arlington store. When we told him what were looking for, he got a glimmer in his eye, and went to work. We ended up getting a FULL 7.2 surround system and a Denon AVR for LESS than the sound bar setup was going to be. We decided to have BB do a professional install. They were prompt, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They taught how to use the system before they left. If I could give 6 stars I absolutely would. It is like being in a movie theater. Better than we thought it could be! Thanks Stephen and BestBuy.

Entertainment system upgrade

So we went to Best Buy and met Antonio, who came to our home and did an in house consultation. It was so pleasant to have a knowledgeable and professional representative to help us through the process. We wanted to get a new tv and streamline our entertainment system to make everything easier to use. Antonio was wonderful with his recommendations and honest feedback. Next came the installers from the Geek Squad. Stephen and Chris showed up earlier than planned and went right to work. Knew what they were doing, worked efficiently as a team and were pleasant to deal with. We have used Best Buy for over 26 years for all our entertainment needs and have always been happy with their recommendations and service.

Home Theatre Projector upgrade

We currently have an LG 83 G2 OLED but want to increase our viewing screen size to 100 inches or more. Frank and his assistant came to our home to give us the best option on a projector that would do 4K HDR on a 120 inch screen size, as well as providing us with the options we needed to upgrade our current sound system with ATMOS, side speakers and an upgraded Savant programmable remote system. We are currently getting quotes on increasing the projector throw distance with a new cabinet install in the Theatre room. Overall, we are very happy with the consultation and great information Frank gave us to proceed with next steps.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I met Xavier Woods on 7/28/25 when I went to Best Buy in Carmel to purchase a TV for a 65" wall. I was initially assisted by Justin. I shared what I wanted, he showed me my options, effectively and pleasantly explained each one and I selected the TV. In the area where I was checking out there was a Sony Bravia XR OLED on display. I kept watching the video on the TV and ultimately decided to purchase it. How truly lucky/blessed I was that Xavier happened to be there. We discussed what I wanted and needed to purchase. I asked him to identified all the components that I needed including external speakers and an amplifier for my turntable. Xavier knew exactly what I needed and explained the need for each item. He was patient, well informed on what products I needed, and very patient in answering all my questions. He worked with me showing product pics. He was very pleasant to work with. Due to family issues I had to delay the installation. He worked with me in making all my arrangements. We spoke numerous times before and after my installation. After installation I needed a Wi-Fi signal booster (my terminology). I contacted Xavier for him to identify the product and of course he did including setting up the installation appointment. He was always so pleasant, patient, kind, and accommodating. Xavier has an awesome customer service attitude!!!

As per his price he transferred me to the warehouse and the manager was real nasty and was not willing honor the price offered by the consultant. he was talking to me like i owed him some money and i declined his offer which was way over than my home advisor promised. I tried to contact my in home advisor left a message but he never called me back. very bad experience.

Everything suggested was more than what I needed. The most expensive Ring Door Bell is not needed when all I needed was the basic one. I felt preyed upon. I a, a 72 year old widow, I would have thought whomever Best Buy would have sent would want to be fair not predatory.

They also kept arguing between them while they were in my home.
