    The Best Buy team was right on time and were very polite and professional the whole time. everything was installed correctly the first time and they took plenty of time afterward to explain how everything worked. I would highly recommend them to others.

    Disappointed with the person who performed the consultation, lack of knowledge and communication. This caused errors and confusion on products to be installed.

    Grateful for the Successful Consultation

    I recently bought a new Denon Stereo AV Receiver, but could not figure out why, after setting it up no problem with my speakers, no sound would come out when connected to the television. I stopped by to speak with Max McQuinn at the Harrison Street Best Buy in San Francisco, explained my situation and the steps I took, and he offered to come with me to troubleshoot! It took him a little while to figure it out, but a reset some updates run on the TV and receiver -- and he got it! I would have never figured it out. I was at the point of returning the receiver for another one, which would not have resolved things, as it turned out. I'm incredibly grateful to Max for taking the time out of his work day to come out and resolve this. I should also note here he helped me throughout the purchase, recommending a receiver that would work well with my TV and setup, and a compatible HDMI cable. I also wanted to thank Zack Revnew, the other salesperson at the store who assisted me with purchasing my new TV and made some very helpful suggestions regarding setup. Thank you both! I'm really happy with my purchases and setup and grateful for your friendliness, generosity of knowledge, and help throughout this process.

    Boomer Friendly

    I am a 74 year old "boomer" -- the installation of my new smart TV was perfect. My old plasma TV finally died after 14 years and I bought a new 77" OLED TV. I was hesitant at first to pay extra for installation since I do have some electronic background (long ago in the "dinasaur" age). I went ahead and ordered the installation (with the salesman's prompting) and was glad I did. My knowledge of tubes and transistors in the 70's did not help me in navigating the app setups. Thanks for your help.

    Great Value and Overall Experience

    I chose Best Buy because I wanted a good produce and I wanted it installed right. I was very happy with sales, delivery coordination and the install. I am sure I could have spent less but I would not have had the best experience. I am very happy with the value I received. The Geek Squad installers were the icing on the cake.

    Steven was able to connect me with the exact Amp I wanted and make ordering and pickup as seamless as possible. As a high-intent customer ready to pick up a specific amp that wasn't available in store, Steven confirmed that Best Buy was able to special order the specific Amp I wanted. When it arrived, I received a call and picked up quickly.

    I worked with Shane Mahon at the Downers Grove store. He was incredibly knowledgeable about everything I needed. He showed me multiple options within my budget with the pros and cons of each. The solution he put together was perfect for my music room. It was someone complex given Sonos and Hue lighting going into a finished basement. I would not hesitate to use Shane again or recommend him to a friend. The Geek Squad technician also did a great job. Love my new music room!

    We had a new range, microwave, and dishwasher delivered and installed. Christopher Elizarraras and Thomas Warnick were very knowledgeable, professional and just awesome to work with. They took their time and did everything to perfrction. One of the best deliveries and installs we've ever had.

    Gabriel did not come to the appt. He did not have the anti-tip bracket, so he is supposed to reschedule. He has not rescheduled!

    Rodney George was absolutely fantastic to work with in Daytona Beach. I built a killer theater system and he just made the journey excellent. He was knowledgeable but did not pressure anything. He also allowed you to take your time and really consider all options! Thanks Rodney! Love my theater system. I highly recommend working with Rodney, he won’t steer you wrong!

    Jabarri knows electronics

    I needed assistance upgrading my home sound system. Jabarri did an instantaneous home check and mapped out the ideal system. Khian and Dean, the installers, worked effectively and efficiently with Jabarri to seamlessly install, instruct, and thoughtfully integrate a mesh wifi system. A job well done even during troubleshooting! Lastly, everything was communicated to me before installation. I highly recommend this team.

    Needed help with new setup!

    We needed help with designing our living room setup for post-renovation TV and sound. Our expert was absolutely wonderful to work with. I told him the vision and he directed me to products to view and listen to. We selected the items and he arranged everything for us for install and the process was splendid!

    I started working with David over 10? months ago....he helped me pick out some great in-ceiling speakers for my new home. And my remodel took a lot longer than expected but he assured me, the products I ordered would still be available & any price reductions would be applied - that was his job & it was true! He also was very patient with me when the products were finally shipped & I forgot what I ordered...thought I ordered a different TV! Definitely would recommend Best Buy's "Premium Design Centers" or "Magnolia Home Theater" sections with knowledgeable staff (such as David) and product demos. Theresa

    Not only was Matt a great sales person, what type of service we received is what I’d call “owner mentality “. He had what I believed to be and invested interest in what we purchased how we felt what we paid in the entire process was outstanding.     Above and Beyond Customer Service

    Our Brentwood/Franklin store location was great from beginning to end. Newton was our main contact all along there and he did an excellent job. Over the years I figured Best Buy was going the way of Circuit City--slow painful retail death. But Best Buy has really turned it around in the last 2 years and excelled at most importantly customer service. In store--they were knowledgeable not only of the product but of supply chain issues. We were looking for a double oven. They helped us select what we wanted, helped us purchase it (more on that later) listened to what we have "now" , and had some concerns on the space. They scheduled some installers to come take measurements and make sure all would fit well. They did, and we had an issue of about 1"-1.5" that would require some carpentry work on our end. Newton was like "Hey no problem, it's not delivered yet and we can find another option, let me refund this to you..." but also explained the supply chain issues really well. He looked for the model we wanted (not the one in stock, but what we wanted)--and it wasn't available to order. He said he would look for it every few days to see if it could be ordered, but also advised we do the same and that "Between the 2 of us, we should be able to find out when we can order this...." and get it. He was right and he held up his end of the bargain. I got updates periodically for several weeks saying he didn't see it in yet. He also came out in the meantime and reviewed our entire kitchen layout for other options (e.g. a microwave somewhere else, even a counter top on, to supplement the double-oven arrangement). He posed a few other design ideas that were out of the box and creative, but he also shot down his own ideas because he said that the kitchen wouldn't flow well in the cooking patterns you typically see in houses. He vetted all the ideas with us. We continued to hunt for the targeted item, and finally it came available to order. He was on it as soon as I texted him and we had it on order. It took another 4 months to get it in (manufacturer issue in 2022), but we got it. During this time we did check other retailers, and they were having similar issues even on different brand names. So it was not a. unique situation. After it was on order, Newton took care of the refund of the original one, paperwork, and all that--without us needing to go in the store. I got updates from him about every 30-45 days letting me know that either it wasn't in yet, or finally when it was coming in and began to work on an installation schedule. The entire process took from December 2021 to August 2022, but Newton followed through repeatedly. Lastly--during the original purchase process, Newton explained to us the Totaltech membership and how it wasn't a typical retail store gimmick, but it really might save us some money. We listened, and sure enough, on that one purchase, it saved us more than the cost of the membership. In addition, I had to buy some Apple products and other things over the next few months and got free Apple Care on those products. The Totaltech membership was well worth purchasing for our situation, and I may continue it next year because of all the advantages it had. The installers were great, courteous, and very careful carrying everything in/out of the house. They went over the use of the oven and all the accessories it came with for us, and cleaned it off extremely well. No scratches, dents, cracks, it was flawless. Best Buy has earned my trust again as the "Go To" place for electronics and appliances again, which is really difficult for me to believe considering my thoughts on the place 2 years ago. Good job turning the ship around. And Kudos again to Newton for his Above and Beyond customer service throughout the process. I made a special trip to the store one day to thank him in person, and tell the manager how great he did.

    Consultation made my experience smooth like butter

    My experience with Home Expert Bryan Roy was nothing short of exemplary. He is the warmest, funniest, most knowledgeable expert that is part of the consultation team. He answered all of our questions without hesitation and was quick to research differences if he didn't have the answer on hand. He went above and beyond to make sure we found the perfect fit for what we were looking for in our next TV. He gave great recommendations for a whole room setup and explained why certain features would be better than others. He even assiated us with upgrading our washer and explaining the differences between our available options. He set expectations for delivery and install and made sure we were getting the best deal possible. He even made sure to check in on us afterwards to make sure we enjoyed everything and to make sure we are nothing less than satisfied with our experience. Best Buy could learn alot from him. I would recommend Bryan to anyone and everyone that will lend me a ear. Kudos times 1000.

    Replaced Logitech universal remote with MX990

    My previously installed Logitech universal remote control no longer had software updates available and I needed a current product. I was able to phone the media consultant and had a callback within a day and a proposal within another. The steps were clearly discussed and pricing explained and agreed to for the MX990 universal remote. An installation date was secured and it's working just fine. Thanks Jay, Josh and Mike

    On time, on budget and perfect installation

    I wanted to expand my home theater, adding new speakers and replacing my TV with the new TCL X11K. The team did a fantastic job installing the new gear, while dealing with some challenging issues due to my house construction and configuration. I really need to call out Joe, who followed with calibration using the newly released Dirac ART on my Marantz AV-10. The system has never sounded better, with all the Bowers and Wilkins speakers working in perfect harmony and synchronization.

    We did a significant remodel and needed music and audio for the family room, living room and backyard. Kelly listened very carefully to what I wanted, asked good questions to clarify and refine, offered good/better/best solutions with helpful clarity on the trade-offs and efficiently managed the ordering and shipping.

    We needed to see if our new refrigerator would fit in the space we have in our kitchen. Athena helped us look at our options and made sure we had all the information to make the best choice and knew it would fit perfectly in our space. She was super knowledgeable and made sure to communicate any concerns she had with all the choices out there. Athena was the best!
