Consultation and install gave us great confidence
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Roland Piche and Yatta came to install our 65 inch LG television and arrived as scheduled. They mounted the TV on our old brick fireplace without any issues and in a timely manner. They mounted sound bar to TV, attached blue ray player and loaded ROKU firestick. They set up all APS and explained how to use each APP and asked for return demonstration from me to ensure I understood all the operations of the setup. They cleaned up and took all trash and old electronics with them. They were very courteous and knowledgeable of the whole process. I would highly recommend BEST Buy and these two service technicians for installations. Justin was our consultant and came to our home and made sure we were getting the TV we wanted and the necessary equipment to mount and enjoy all the features. He was very informative and gave us options and no pressure to get one brand over another.

Varand's customer service is unparalleled!

Am not great at measuring, so was thrilled he was able to schedule an in-home consultation the very next day. He wisely recommended that I sign up for Totaltech since I planned to buy 8 appliances. I returned 4 days later to buy Consumer Reports #1 rated Bosch 100 dishwasher, but it couldn't even be back ordered. Varand showed me the top-of-the-line Bosch 800 that was significantly discounted because it was a floor model, so not that much more expensive than the 100. It was OK that Totaltech doesn't deliver out-of-box appliances since I planned to rent a truck to transport tile from a nearby Floor & Decor. He showed me several options for 6 other appliances that both fit my home and took advantage of Best Buy's Independence Day sale. When I returned a week later, the last day of the sale, Varand stayed late to help me buy all 6 appliances. A month later, a TotalTech rep measured the hole in my new countertop for the cooktop install. He offered to check measurements for my 7 other appliances, but didn't have the specs. I called Varand who not only remembered me, but immediately sent the info we needed! Varand's customer service is unparalleled and I look forward to his help when I buy electronics for the rest of my home.

Well worth it, it was all done right!

We checked around and decided Best Buy was our best option. Sean set us up with all of the right components and Adam led the install team. We made the right decision every thing looks and sounds great. Adam explained everything, and wrote up a nice "how to" note. And let us know we can always call with any questions, we have not had to do that yet!

Great customer experience

Perfect Man Cave

Carmine Gallo was incredibly professional and pleasant throughout the entire process. He took the time to understand my vision for the room and offered helpful suggestions that enhanced the final setup. His attention to detail and commitment to making sure everything was just right really stood out. I would definitely work with him again and highly recommend his services to anyone looking for high-quality installation and expert advice.

Great experience and follow-up start to finish!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently went to Best Buy looking to upgrade my 10 year old TV and 20 year old home theater system. My existing setup was just too complicated - four remotes were needed to watch a show on Apple TV and my wife is not tech savvy. I needed guidance to both upgrade and simplify. The Best Buy in-store representative, Jalil Khan, approached me and took note of my situation. Jalil asked all the right questions as he narrowed down the components that could be brought together to solve my needs. He explained all the options and step by step, built a system that solved my needs while within my budget. Perhaps the best part of the story though, is all the work Jalil did on my behalf after the sale was made with regard to getting the products delivered, set up and fine tuned. Getting anything delivered in Manhattan is not easy as buildings have stringent requirements with regard to insurance and scheduling. Jalil handled everything including setting up appointments with the geek squad on our behalf. Finally, my wife happens to have visual issues with motion and the screen size of the TV was a major issue for her. Jalil came up with a workaround that allowed my wife to experiment with different screen sizes in our home until she was comfortable. Long story short, Jalil fully understood what our needs were, and worked tirelessly to satisfy us from start to finish. Jalil made our Best Buy experience over the top great. I would highly recommend Jalil and Best Buy if you are in the market for a home theater system and want to be assured of the best follow up possible to meet your needs, whatever they may be.

Great results, great experience

Great process and experience in choosing the right sound system for our house. Installation was fast and Brandon came out and did the acoustical setup and calibration of the rooms. Excellent experience and result.

Geek Sqaud are the BEST! BB 888 number is horrid!!

He solved my network issues in record time and got me up and running again with ease. I am so grateful that I have Best Buy to assist me with issues in my home be they computer or appliances. I am not happy with the Geek Squad/Total Tech changes, though. I HATE having to schedule appts. through your 800 number, or do anything else through them. Their English is very poor and they are rude and have difficulty understanding what I say, as I do with what they are saying. Number 1 solution is to let the local Geek Squad handle appts., or 2nd by far solution, move the 800 service to the US. I am, also, unhappy that you made changes to the Total Tech services and did not inform your Total Tech customers. We should have been informed of these changes. In my opinion, they are very negative, esp., as one is now forced to use your pathetic 800 service to avoid charges during appointments. I despise and actually dread having to call your 800/888 number. Please, don't make your most loyal customers go through them. It is pure torture.

Amazing service and support

Arthur Ramirez provided us amazing first class consultation. He identified our needs, recommended right product. He kept us in the loop even and made sure we had all the products installed properly. He also helped us register the products and get the benefits that came along. We had multiple in-home installations trips and the the in-home installation experts did a fabulous job. They also took back the packaging that we did not have to deal with. Thank you Arthur and rest of the best buy team. Going forward I am shopping my electronics at Best Buy instead of Amazon.

Finding the best TV solution for difficult spaces

While in the store we also checked out the new TVs, wishing we could fit a bigger TV than the 40” one we currently had in our built-in cubby hole in the wall from the ‘90s. We got to chatting with a sales rep and she suggested that we could have a rep come to our home to see if there is a way this could be done. We scheduled a consult appointment for Matt to come over the next week. Matt showed up on time, ready to work wonders. After examining the whole area, taking into consideration the adjacent fireplace, safety codes, available space, size of room, etc., we agreed on what would work best without having to do construction. Matt took all the necessary measurements, he discussed with us our options, latest TVs and sound bars, speakers, and sound systems. We decided on a 48” Sony OLED with sound bar and woofer with upgraded mounting bar. He ordered everything, explained all available discounts and warranties, scheduled install for following week. Done. We love love love our new TV. It’s amazing how just even an 8-inch larger screen can make such a difference. We are finally satisfied that this TV arrangement is the absolute best solution for our space without having to reconstruct a fireplace wall. Also, Best Buy’s Geek Squad team did a perfect install! Thank you, Matt, for your expertise, knowledge, professionalism, and assistance in guiding us to a perfect solution in the confines of a difficult space.

Our best A/V install yet!

He has lived up to every commitment he made, and he's been incredible with follow-up on things that have come up during or after the initial installation. We feel like he really does care that we're happy with everything. The installation team was also incredible. We've probably had 5+ people here at different times ... all focused on their specialty area and all coordinating very well with use and with each other.

Best Sales Person Ever

Frank's price was slightly higher than one other company. I went with Frank because of his honestly and straight forwardness. I bought multiple appliances and the benefits were clearly explained.

AMAZING! Top Notch Expertise

He has real industry experience and knows how to design a system and match the system to your liking and budget. He loves the gear and loves to listen to high quality sound. Hope you get the chance to work with him if you are planning on doing a Home Theater or Sound System in your home.

Team Best Buy for the win!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I switched from an LG OLED to the Samsung 85A and boy did I make the right decision! The OLED started having burn-in issue after less than two years and had gotten to the point where it was just too much of a distraction. Also, the LG started having problems with various pixel on the screen. To be fair I must admit the OLED picture was stunning when it was new. It had a very cinematic look and was one of the best pictures if have ever seen on a TV! But, the burn-in and pixel issues just became too much to enjoy the LG any longer. Because of these issues, I decided to go with the Samsung Ken, at my local Best Buy, put me in touch with Donavan, a Senior Consultant. Donavan came out to the house and not only explained the process but also was able to attach my previously purchased Sonos Beam to the bottom of the TV lifting the sound bar off the mantle. In less than two weeks the Geek Squad arrived with the TV and not only did a wonderful job of mounting the TV but did a fantastic job of consolidating all of the cables. The final product looks better than I had imagined. My wife an I love the new TV! It is a good bit brighter than the older one but it works for us. During the day it is bright, crisp and clear and at night I still get that cinematic experience. I must say the entire experience at Best Buy was wonderful. Ken, Donavan, and the Geek Squad worked together like a well rehearsed symphony.

Above and beyond

Donnie Gardner, the in-store consultant, did a thorough job explaining the features of it and things to consider in placing it, etc. The discussion continued on line as I had additional questions. A delivery date was selected but no one showed up and no notice had been given. I reached out to Donnie and he got back to me with what happened and he quickly arranged a new delivery time with a Best Buy Geek Squad team rather than an outside vendor. You just don't find this kind of above and beyond service much any more and we applaud him for it.

Sonus system installation / program

I'm Very happy with job. Constant was very organized and labeled everything including the 3 amps amp 3 ports. This was money well spent - system works perfectly!
