I wanted to get a new dishwasher, but I was concerned about getting one that fit the space (before you think I don't know how to use a tape measure, I couldn't measure the depth because I couldn't pull the old one out from under the counter). Jeffrey came out, measured, and reassured me. He gave me ton of great tips about which brands were good and about what features to look for. He suggested buying one particular model, but it wasn't high-priced and he wasn't pushy about it. He also noted a potential installation issue. After he left, I selected a dishwasher online. Then I phoned Jeffrey and ordered it through him. He scheduled a previsit (to deal with the installation issue) and the installation. Everything went like silk. To sum it up, it's like having a concierge for your appliances. I recommend Jeffrey and Best Buy wholeheartedly.

I had to buy a two channel amplifier and speaker set in. Alex was so patient. He guided me through the selection process various option and built an option for me which was exactly right fitting my budget. His honest feedback gave me a lot of confidence.. although the shipping process did not complete in time, but I would always go back to Alex for any help. He is very knowledgeable and an amazing person.

I was in need of a better WiFi experience in my house for my Gigabit service. One of the salespeople at my local Best Buy store recommended that I try the Best Buy In-Home Consultation services. They would schedule an appointment that was convenient for me, have a Best Buy In-Home Consultant come to my house, evaluate my particular needs, and make recommendations based on what the consultant saw. All for FREE. I was skeptical at first, wondering what I would get for free (these days) but said okay - let's do it. My In-Home Consultant's name is Jim. Jim is very knowledgeable, in general, but also specifically about my particular need for a mesh network system for my house. He was able to use his signal meter to walk with me through my house - to show me where my existing WiFi signals were weak or non-existent (dropped-off / out of range). He discussed the pros and cons of WiFi extenders versus mesh network systems, and their relative costs for each, and then -- between the current mesh network providers -- gave me pros and cons for each of those. All in all - very knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. I purchased a mesh network from Best Buy that week and installed it in my house. Jim (the Best Buy Guy) and Dad are now the heroes for bringing fast, reliable WiFi signals to Mom and the kids...! I was VERY pleased with my Best Buy In-Home Consultation experience, and I've already recommended it many of my colleagues at work, friends at church, etc. This is an EXCELLENT service that Best Buy is providing now. Our consultant, Fred, was amazing. We needed a consultation for mounting 2 TV's. He inspected both areas and provided confidence in our decision. The first TV was a bit tricky as there had been a sound system already installed in the house we purchased, so we weren't even sure if it worked. He took the time to analyze what had been done and discovered that we would need an extra piece to even make it work. He helped us find and purchase the part. Fred was kind and knowledgeable on every question I had. He went above and beyond to ensure we were set up for success. 100% would recommend this service every single time and it is completely free!

Super consultation! Geek squad helped connect up our audio and TV system. We were missing a few parts (cords & connectors) and ordered them. Then they came back and finished the job. Not only are they super from the technical side, they also have great communication skills. They told us when they were going to come. They came at that time. They explained what they had done and How to use our new technology. Highly recommend.

Best Buy associate told me about the in home consult, which i was blown away that they do that for no charge. Adam was called and appointment set up, was easy. Adam was on time, and very professional with his consult and assessment of the property. After hearing my needs and desires, he immediately reccomended the eero pro 6 mesh system. I was not sure about how they worked, he explained everything and answered all my questions. I went to the store, Purchased the system, and within 15 minutes i had my new network up and running. It solved all my issues as i had the latest and greatest netgear router AX6000 and a surfboard 32x8 modem. I kept the modem, but returned that router, glad i did. I gained access to my shop hesitant free, also to playhouse, and my network extends 2 lots around, and i live in a half acre lot! Very easy to install, small footprint, looks better that today's spaceship/drone looking routers. Totally reccomend the in home consult, free, easy to setup, and outcome will save you headaches going forward. In the end, i get 462mbps and 20mbps upload. Totally satisfied.

New refrigerator was installed and old refrigerator was removed in a very efficient manner . They were also very careful not to nick the walls during the installation.

Che was everything bff you would want a salesperson to be and then some. Wildly knowledgeable about all things audiophile. Great communication and great personal interaction. If you need audio equipment and or you are an audiophile, go see Che! You will not regret that decision.

Ivan withe Eagle Appliance Installation came out and measured for our new appliances purchase, I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and he was very professional. Ivan and team installed out appliances the other day and we could not be more pleased. He had to. Modify our cabinet to fit the new wall oven/micro combo and he did a great job.

I wanted to make certain that a new refrigerator would fit into the space in which the old, inoperative frig sat. At first it looked like it would be a tight fit. Nemo's inspection gave me confidence that it would and it did. One negative was I should have been informed about Best Buy's SOPs (standard operating procedures) which in this case would have helped mitigate an installation problem. The old frig had a back wall brace screwed into the floor board which the installers refused to remove. But it prevented the new unit from moving all the way to the back of the space (hence, the new counter depth frig could not fulfill that requirement). the installer refused my permission for him to remove the brace and he did not call his supervisor to ok my request. I had to spend about 15 minutes myself removing the long screws for the brace with my tools which really were not suited for the job. After that effort, the frig did fit as designed. Best Buy's SOPs should allow for such eventualities and Best Buy should provide standard procedures for accommodating them. After installation, ittook some work to get Best Buy to understand this and to return to rectify an additional problem (I discovered that the original installers did not replace the plastic water line with the steel cable I had purchased). Despite this problem, I regard this service as essential to correct installation of my purchase.

Matthew did a very good job with explaining all the details of what it would take to complete our project, except he did leave out one item from the final total, the cost of the install. He explained all of our options, brand names and even sought out lower priced items but similar quality of what we wanted. He took his time and did not rush.

Kevin Platz was wonderful. Carrying a heavy tv to a third floor apartment isn't easy plus parking situation here leaves a lot to be desired. Love my 55 " Samsung. Only concern is the screen goes off occasionally an it says "not connected to network".

We moved to Texas from out of state. We visited our local Best Buy store before moving and were able to set up an in home consultation for our new home in Texas. We were only in town for one day and had limited availability. Ed Caufield was our home expert. He accommodated our availability and spent 2hrs at our home. He reviewed all of our options to purchase/mount tvs and install a surround sound system. Ed placed the order for all the needed equipment that day and was able to set up an appointment for after our move in date with the Geek Squad. We signed up for the Total Tech Membership so all installations were included. It is well worth the money! Ed was extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. Even after placing our order he remained in touch with me and answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend having a consultation with a Home Expert. We couldn't be happier with the service we received as well as the products we purchased.

Seth Maser was a fantastic help with recommendations for a complete large-screen TV, a Roku device, a sound bar, and all the necessary additional devices for a full setup. Seth scheduled the installation and removal of my old TV. Everything went as planned. The installation team did an excellent job.

Taylor is awesome! We purchased a new TV, sound bar, universal remote and upgraded our Wi-Fi. Taylor came to the house, gave suggestions as to what would work best within our price range, placed the order and set up the installation date. The TV went on sale after the initial order was placed, I reached out to Taylor and within 30 minutes the credit was applied. She’s a pleasure to work with, friendly and very knowledgeable. We would never have been able to do this upgrade ourselves so it’s great to have a specific contact person that never makes you feel like you’re asking silly questions or being a bother. The installation with Mike and his crew was great too…..Friendly, professional and extremely patient teaching us the universal remote. Both Taylor and Mike have been super responsive with our questions even after the install and I have no doubt they will continue to do so if necessary. We’ve already referred Taylor to the neighbors and know they are in good hands.

We were looking at a replacement living room TV. Nick was a big help in ensuring our needs were met, and we could take advantage of the great sales available that week. He made sure we were well prepared for what we needed for the installation. The installation team that came out, Adam and Jose, were absolutely incredible as well. I had my doubts they would be able to mount the TV where we wanted it on the stairwell, but they were able to adjust and coordinate on the fly and complete everything beautifully. The whole family loves the new television setup (and the Atmos soundbar). Thank you for all your help!
