    No Buyers Remorse With These Professionals

    Just moved into a new home and I needed a new, good TV. Walked into Best Buy just to look but I wound up seeing several TV's I liked. Doug answered all of my questions and gave in depth explanations about the differences of each one along with suggestions for a mount and any upgrades for devices that were going to be connected to the TV. I told him what I wanted and he made it happen. Everyone involved was very nice, respectful, knowledgeable, and made the whole process a breeze. Couldn't be happier.

    Exceptional service from start to finish! The mounted TV installation was handled with precision and care. They arrived on time and were professional and efficient making sure everything was perfectly aligned and secure. Angel Ortiz even took time to ensure the setup was exactly to our liking and setup the TV and Soundbar. Highly recommend their expertise!

    We met Mike Mangione buying a fridge two years ago. He was great and helped make the process super simple and was really helpful with choosing the right unit. We’ve continued to avail ourselves of his help every time we need to make Best Buy purchases and he’s aces!! Didn’t know Best Buy had this service but I won’t go back to doing it on my own!!

    Home theater system? DO get consulting services!

    Two techs arrived to install a new Sony Bravia 65" OLED TV as part of an aging Pioneer home theater system. They worked through some issues that arose due to the older receiver and managed to find workarounds that were very satisfactory. Ever patient and good spirited, no matter the challenge! They even reprogrammed the DirecTV remote, which now works better with the home theater system than it ever did before! Gave me good tutorials on the remotes, on how to avoid issues with apps when managed by a SmartTV (always close out apps, so they are exited gracefully, to avoid corruption and remediation!). SO glad I got the installation service -- would never have figured out most of what cropped up, but they worked through every anomaly. Kudos to both of them!

    David Rose has been a fantastic resource and provided me with honest product assessments, which enabled me to make excellent buying decisions. Never did I feel hurried and any/all questions I had David took the time to thoroughly address. AND, his follow-up was spot on !

    I needed help with getting better Wi-Fi service throughout my house. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with Spectrum just to learn that the problem is not on their end. I decided to contact the Geek Squad to see if they had recommendations. Well, I wish I had called them first. Eu-John was awesome. He took the time to understand my situation and my issues. Since this was a virtual visit he could not see for himself how things were set up in my home. Once he eliminated the obvious issues like the capability of my computer (which is very capable) and the capability of my Wi-Fi service (I subscribe to the strongest signal Spectrum offers) he quickly recommended a Mesh Wi-Fi system, He even processed the purchase for me. My issues are resolved! I will go to Geek Squad first next time I have any technical issues.

    We visited a BB to check out a new, larger TV and replacing a conventional 5.1 home theater system with a good sound bar. The salesperson offered to have a consultant come to our home, examine the room arrangement and make recommendations. The "Home Expert" arrived soon after and were so glad he was able to answer all our questions and make expert suggestions and provide options. On top of that the approach he suggested saved us hundreds of dollars and provided better equipment than say, buying items ourselves at one of those places noted for saving you money and then having to haul them home and somehow install. Glad we went the BB route!

    Home Consultant - Great Idea

    Brad came to the house, which was a new service that worked great. He was able to make recommendations about the size and placement of equipment and what would work best with existing stuff. The geek squad guys had worked for the previous owner and remembered setting up her stuff and connected the same equipment for me. We had purchased a harmony remote and it would not work with my laptop, so they tried and determined the remote needed to be returned. They also set up 2 other TV's that were already in the house. Brad's partner helped me get a big screen TV for our volunteer fire department at a deep discount and this will help the fire department in their training. They were stuck with a 32 inch for videos and presentations. I would recommend using best buy and the home consultant to anyone interested in a great experience for start to finish.

    The conclusion of the matter.

    I do not understand many of the settings on the receiver and the language of current tv and receiver equipment talk, I have it running wonderfully now. But because of the above, I am afraid of the system. If I explore too much, I may never find my way back. I know this is not the best there is but it is a perfect system for us. I had a friend call me as he just got a $3500 Marantz reciever. He wanted me to come over and hear it. I brought three cd's I thought showed off certain sounds. We played them and it was great. However, I think my REL woofer is better. Could just be my ears, but this sounds fine.

    Collin at the Frisco, TX store worked with me on replacing/updating my Universal Remote. The transaction was easy and smooth. After I left the store, Collin called me at home as he had found a lower cost option for me prior to the installation and saved me $150 on the final remote purchased. A credit for the lower cost remote was processed to my credit card. The installation was done by Thomas within 2 business days. Thomas set it up for me in the easiest way possible for me to use with my music and TV preferences.

    Justin Russo is a top notch professional!!

    We needed help with a stovetop purchase, to replace another. We purchased one but Justin recommended a home measurement before delivery. Sure enough, it would not have fit. Justin worked tirelessly to find another, amid a shortage of available appliances. He was confident about his recommendation which assured us it would be a great choice. We love the new cooktop. If we had not experienced Justin, and only experienced the two cancelled deliveries we had on two appliances without any notice, our overall rating of making purchases at Best Buy would be much fewer stars. Thanks to Justin, one of the rescheduled deliveries would have amounted to a drop off only, and not an installation, if he hadn’t caught the schedulers mistake. Take care of this guy Best Buy! You do not want to lose him!

    Our consultant was awesome

    There was a scheduling SNAFU at Best Buy. They scheduled Thompson to come to our home on a Friday between 5 and 7 PM. We waited patiently for him to call or arrive until a little past 7:00, and then started calling and sending emails to find out what was going on. Thompson's voice mail said his hours are from Sunday through Thursday until 5:00 PM. However Thompson called us to explain that there was a known problem with scheduling, and he apologized for the confusion, but offered to come out to evaluate and advise that night if we wanted. On his day off at 8:00 PM at night. Not wanting to waste another day waiting for Best Buy, we accepted. Thompson drove 40 minutes to our house, at night, on his day off, to make things right for someone else's mistake. He could not have been any nicer, courteous and helpful. Best Buy should clone Thompson and put them in every store.

    I could not be happier than the outcome of having Brian Beren and his crew to upgrade my home entertainment systems. I originally had one installed 20 years ago and it was aging. By doing an onsite visit to evaluate what i had and suggest things I ended up with a completely updated system. He and his crew were very polite, and it was a pleasure having them help me with this project. It was as comfortable as having my brother visit to give you a picture of the comfort level.

    No pressure – just pertinent information

    My five-year-old Dyson vacuum cleaner having given up the ghost, I went along to our local Best Buy on Gateway Boulevard in Prescott, AZ. The wide variety of cordless stick vacuums on offer soon had me perplexed, but I was kindly rescued by a very helpful advisor called Glen, who took the trouble to establish what was important for me in terms of performance, weight, add-ons etc. and then gave me a selection of machines to consider. His manner throughout was miles away from the dreaded "hard sell", but consistently patient and cheerful. I realized that he truly wanted to help me find the very best alternative for my needs, and I was truly grateful for that. In the meantime, my new Dyson has arrived and has easily passed every test I could think of. Thank you, Glen, for your thoughtful and well-informed advice!

    Made buying new home computer setup easy!

    I had to replace dated equipment (laptop, desktop, external hard drive, etc.) before it stopped working. I had been putting it off for awhile because of the stress of not knowing where to begin. Finally I called for an in-home consultation and Rob W. assessed my current setup and showed me all of my options (without being overwhelming). He explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. Based on his knowledge and overall support, I was able to make my purchases by the end of the consultation, set up data transfer from all of my old equipment and now I am using all new equipment with no information lost. Thank you Rob W. And Best Buy!

    Brand New Kitchen

    Justin was amazing - he took the time to listen to myself and my wife to really listen to what we were trying to do and how we could get there. We were working with a blueprint and ideas in our head but needed a way to materialize it. The appliances look amazing in our brand new kitchen. They sure weren't the cheapest option but he helped us navigate the costs in a way to maximize what we were looking to do.

    Clients, not customers.

    We brought Tim into our home to start home theater from scratch. Our family had no experience and no background. In short, we were "neophytes". Tim is passionate and experienced and he communicated his love for what he designs. Now, installation was challenging, with some extra work for coordination and scheduling. It took some effort. The result, though, is high end television, music in various indoor and outdoor zones, equipment and apps to tailor and monitor it all. Everything's tied together in an easy to use "one-remote" system and distributed over a high speed in-home internet network. Frankly, the system is beyond our expectations, and our expectations were high. The annual subscription for sales, advice and guidance are helpful, too. We hired a consultant, not a sales person. We're clients, not customers.

    Victor and Anthony are the best!!!!

    My computer crashed an I needed all new equipment and installation quickly. I purchased Total Tech (which I highly recommend) and was assigned Victor Torres, who is amazing! My husband and I are "technologically challenged" and Victor came to the rescue. He was patient, knowledgeable, and quickly understood my problem and did everything in his power to fix it and was so responsive. I cannot say enough good things about him and would recommend him to anyone. He went above and beyond. He also sent Anthony, who is a fabulous tech to install everything. Again, he was amazing and got me set up. He too went above and beyond and I would want him back if I ever have any other problems.

    The 'Best Buy' in the business.

    My experience with Rod Chambers began when he came for an in-home consultation. He was extremely thorough in understanding my requirements and making suggestions. He was very courteous and knowledgeable - a true tech and audiophile. This made our conversation very easy as someone who is not so in the know. I was interested in some more expensive items that he recommended against and I'm glad I listened to him because the system he put together is frikken awesome! This also showed me that he wasn't just trying to upsell me but was trying to provide me with a comprehensive solution that exceeded my expectations but not my budget. He also responds quickly and made adjustments for different price matches I noted against cables, mounts, etc... That was very helpful! I'd recommend Rod to anyone who is interested in getting the best buy and experience.
