My IHA advisor was excellent to work with before, during and after the appointment. He always made time to answer any and all questions, gave great advice and insight without pushing to buy products, and really listened to what I was trying to accomplish. His breadth of knowledge was impressive, but he wasn't too proud to reach out to a colleague for specific advice in a particular area. He followed up with me on numerous occasions after the sale and deliveries, and handled several price matches both before and after the sale. There is literally no reason not to take advantage of a free thorough in-home consultation. Gave me peace of mind that I was doing things right the first time. Couldn't recommend this enough!

Numair and associates were very helpful in selecting the correct TV, sound system and mounts for my home. He was responsive and helpful throughout the process. Unfortunately, the Geek Squad canceled my install appointment 3 times (once without any notice) before I lost patience and canceled my order in frustration. When Numair talked me down and I re-instated my order, I lost $300 worth of "new account" credits. Citibank was unwilling to restore those credits for me. I'd give Numair and his guidance 5 stars and the installers 2 stars (they did a good job once they FINALLY showed up after multiple canceled appts).

I decided to create my smart home and had conducted my own research before I finally went into the store so I already had an idea of what I wanted. After being talked into trying the In-Home Consultation I was skeptical because I already knew what I wanted. However, I am very glad I went with the service!!! The consultant was spot on with everything I knew and he even had a few tid bits of information regarding compatibility of the various systems that I was unaware of. He saved me a lot of headaches and consternation so I whole heartedly recommend trying this service if you are thinking of upgrading your home. There was no pressure to buy and the consultant stated I could piecemeal my project as I went along if I wanted. Awesome service!!!!

We needed help purchasing a church security system for my church . Vernon Skenandore was assigned to me. Excellent service starting with day one! He came out and talked to us and showed us what we would need and we worked very close and got it done. Thank you Vernon! Gods blessing's to you and the Best Buy installation team that came out! Received very personalized help to measure for appliances, pick out features and explore different options. It really made me feel good about my choices. After delivery of TV and appliances I have had excellent service from Adolfo, my in-home advisor. He has scheduled follow-up appointments to resolve issues, added on protection plans over the phone, and he even stopped by while he was in the area to resolve an issue with my sound bar. I haven't had such professional and personalized customer service like this at any time in my life. I would definitely use Best Buy's In-Home Advisor service for any future purchases.

All the service people were aqwesome, but to get my old landline taken off my account has been a night mare! We changed it at the store when browsing, making appt for in home estimator. He called the OLD number, said he changed it. The installers called the old number, they would change it. I got my new Best Buy card and put all my information in, as they DID NOT put it on my very old established account. Then we had an issue with the sound system, told them to make sure the correct number was in so we could get a courtesy call before they came. Originally told between noon and 4, at 8:10 am ! Not his fault because he tried to call, yes again, the OLD number! Then I called again they merged my old account with my 'new' account and took away my Rewards points I had just earned, 2549!!!I called to get them back but the person did not know how to do it and had to escalate it! I am beyond mad and disappointed!!!

Shawn Parker provided me with an excellent customer experience. His knowledge and communication skills are second to none. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends looking for a designer for their home theater experience. Thank you !

They are the experts, from the home review technician that designed the system and followed thru with estimate and outlined the job for the installers. And the installers that really know the business that weren't done till everything was tuned and trained my family to use the system 10 of 10 Thank You

We needed to have our new bedroom TV mounted. The agents were super polite and helped us with the best location and position. They even took the time to make sure we knew how to program the tv with our Roku stick. They were respectful of our home by wearing masks and plastic covering for their shoes (it was raining). AND they called us the next day to make sure all went well with the programming! Couldn't have asked for better technicians.

I needed help getting internet coverage through out my home and universal remotes to eliminate the clutter of multiple units laying around. Appointment was made with Marvelin Ruiz who called the day prior with an appointment window that was kept the day specified. She looked at equipment, walked home with me to understand the need and then gave me suggested equipment. She promised and delivered the pricing estimate shortly thereafter and once approved, set up installation at my convenience. All equipment has worked to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with the entire transaction.

I recently worked with Jared to replace a tv and laptop and to extend my wifi. His advice and attention to detail made both the ordering process and the installation a breeze. And the Geek Squad installation team also did a great job. They were all professional and extremely competent and I would definitely use them again.

Jess Kordash came to consult on our refrigeration choice, and our in-home Security system. She also brought a specialist from the Appliance dept of the store. Both were extremely knowledgable and we were able to close the deal in the first visit. When the refrigerator came our installers were efficient and knowledgable. The installers of the Security cameras were experienced and very helpful. All in all, the entire experience was smooth, timely and stress-free. This is our second use of the In Home Consultation Services, and we will not purchase anything without it! In fact, we've been talking it up so much, while she was here, our neighbor got Jess's card and is planning to use the service as well. The Geek Squad is A++!!!!!

Our stove/oven had a catastrophic failure during which the control board caught fire. Matt came to our home and helped us choose a new JennAir downdraft unit. Matt helped us all along the path to installation of the new unit. We were frustrated because the unit was back ordered but Matt and his colleagues kept us informed and helped expedite our delivery date.

We did an extensive home remodel and needed all new appliances. Andy met with is in our kitchen to see the exact space we had. Then he recommended 3 different appliance packages all within our budget. Once the order was placed, we had everything delivered and installed in less than a week. Very easy and hassle free.

It was good overall.The agents were very nice and professional. However, the agent gave me some misleading information. I was planning to purchase a security camera system. I had done some research and was between the Arlo Pro and the Arlo Pro2, because I was looking for wireless cameras. I asked about the feature that allows you to create a custom detection zone (you can basically set up the area you want to secure). He told me that yes, you can set it up with the Pro 2. I found out after I purchased the product that this was only possible if the cameras were plugged in. The agent knew that I was going to install the cameras wireless. He either did not know or conveniently left that detail out. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that he forgot or did not know. Luckily that was not a determining factor, although it would have been a nice feature to have. Otherwise the service was very good. They answered a lot of questions that helped me with my decision.

This service is just what I needed. I’m not very tech savvy, so to have a subject matter expert come to my house and give advice on my current equipment and make recommendations on needed equipment was very helpful. Rep was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It wasn’t high pressure and he didn’t try to talk me into buying anything. He left there without me making any purchases, and was totally cool with that. And, yes, it really is free!! I am very brand loyal to Best Buy and buy pretty much all my electronics there, so I ended up making several recommended purchases a couple weeks later. He left his cell number so he was available for consult even after the fact. My only criticism was that he recommended a much more expensive system than I needed. I was looking to boost my WiFi, so he recommended the Velop system for $500. I ended up buying the google system for almost half that cost. Overall a great experience and excellent idea from Best Buy!

We are most pleased with the design & ordering process through Aaron and the installation of our new LG OLED G4 83-inch TV and with the installation of that TV and 3 Sonos Arc soundbars by Charde and Kurston. Smooth process from start to finish.

Destinee demonstrated true commitment to our project and was a great lesion during some difficult segments of the overall project. Contacting this representative was not an issue and the her response time was impressive. Her skills proved noteworthy, and with the help of another Geek Squad member, a difficult step in the overall process was resolved. I was pleased dealing with Destinee and would not hesitate to work with her on future projects.

Mike Ost did a wonderful job for me. He gave me great advice, he listened to me and suggested what I was looking for and not something more than I needed. I took his advice and purchased everything on the list. Unfortunately I made the mistake of not understanding to use the proposal he gave me and I ordered it through the local store, so Mike did not get the credit for the purchase, but it was thanks to Mike that I made the purchase. I have not had a chance to install yet, but looking forward to the amazing new home theater!
