    We ned to have our router and modem replaced, the person assigned to come to our office had an accident earlier, you guys immediately arrange to have another tech to come the same day and like an hour later, they were so helpful and explaining everything to my husband and I, we are 2 old people, They made sure everything was running correctly. They were far and beyond on their duty, we are very happy of the service, kudos to them

    Basement TV and audio Upgrade

    We needed expertise in learning about the speakers and wiring left by previous owners. Also needed installation of new audio/video items. The in store and in home consultations were excellent and the installation crew went beyond expectations in explaining our new system.

    Scott was very helped me a great deal in selecting the right TV for our home theater. He is knowledgeable on all aspects from the equipment to the installation and helped me secure a good price as well.

    We needed expert advise and assistance regarding our Best Buy Installation regarding our Home Entertainment System. Sheldon was able to troubleshoot, offer solutions and resolve all issues with the Best Buy installed system. In addition, Sheldon made recommendations for the purchase and installation for an outdoor television for our back patio. Additionally, Sheldon provided excellent recommendations for the purchase of a new laptop computer. It was a great pleasure working with Sheldon on this project. Sheldon is a true professional and is very thorough to ensure the best customer service experience!

    No hassle consultation and Installation

    We needed help with selecting the right cameras for our particular needs, but had very limited amount of time available to meet. Daniel was understanding and despite the rushed nature of our evaluation meeting (our fault, we were rushing him), he was able to identify our needs and the best technology to match. We are grateful he offered equipment protection and clarified all of our concerns. We would definitely recommend his services, as well as the installation crew to anyone. They were dedicated from start to finish, and arranged everything to our preference in one single day!

    Patrick Burke is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about audio. So easy and fun to chat with about new speakers. Tested a few combinations and found the sound I liked. So great.

    Fernando was fantastic assisting us with upgrading the sound system in our media room and throughout the house. Casey with the Geek Squad came to implement and install new equipment. He did a fabulous job and took the time to get things right. I highly recommend them both and would be sure to use them again if the need arose. Thank You Best Buy!

    In home consultation was great and reassuring!

    We wanted to be sure that the fit, installation and features and functions of our new dishwasher and stove were exactly what we were looking for. The in home consultation provided exactly that! The space was measured and discussed. The options and alternative products that we were considering were discussed and it helped us arrive at a decision. The paperwork was written up and delivery scheduled.

    My BestBuy Experience

    After purchasing a new TV at Thanksgiving from BestBuy and unable to hook it up to my outdated surround sound system to work I went to BestBuy to purchase a digital cable as a last resort to see if I could get the system to work. I asked about a home consultation to come and evaluate my existing system. I was able to speak to the consultant at the store that day and he recommended a new receiver and sub-woofer. I decided to purchase the recommended equipment and set a home installation for 12/30/21. The Geek Squad arrived on the 30th and switched out the receiver and sub-woofer and made the connection to the TV. After removing the TV from the wall, it didn’t go back so easy. But with a little wrangling it was back on the wall. After the set up was complete I felt like the Geek Squad tech was in a rush to finish up and leave with out reviewing the system adequately. Later that evening I noticed a “smudge” on the top of the TV screen with a horizontal and vertical line on the screen. I called the customer service number on 12/31/21 and after waiting “3 to 5 minutes”, turned into a ½ hour, I set up a “consultation” for Monday 1/3/22. I received a robocall at 2 pm on the day of the “consultation” ,1/3/22, saying that the appointment would have to be rescheduled. I went to the website to reschedule, and the website indicated the appointment was still scheduled. I called BestBuy customer service and was told I should have received an email to reschedule. I told the rep that I didn’t receive the email. The rep said he would contact the tech, to see what the situation was and asked me to hold for “3 to 7 minutes”. After being put on hold I received the email to reschedule, which I rescheduled for 1/13/22. I continued to hold to hold to see what the tech had said and make sure the appointment was scheduled. I was disconnected after about 40 minutes. I called back to make sure that the appointment was scheduled and hear what the tech might have said. I only got confirmation that the appointment was rescheduled. My point with all of this is that while my “experience” with the BestBuy was pleasant enough, except for the damaged TV. The customer service was bordering on horrible. It was very difficult to understand the reps to waiting what was to be “3 to 7 minutes”, was 30 to 40 minutes. was extremely frustrating. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired and I hope that I never have to contact them again. If I knew that it would be the way it was I would have looked for other options than BestBuy.

    John was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about all the aspects of sound systems. From speakers to amplifiers to wireless sound systems—you name it, he knew it! He helped us choose the best system for our home and talked us “non-techy” people through the process before we even left the store, as to assure us that we would have of all the things we’d need to get it up and running smoothly and quickly. His advice was spot on , and most appreciated!!

    The Home Consultation experience was good. I was looking tor a security camera system to cove the exterior of our home. Also one that I could self monitor as well as be used on a daily basis to monitor our driveway that was not visible from inside our home. All of our needs were taken into consideration as well as help in locating the right location to mount the cameras. The consultant was professional, knowledgeable, and eager to help us achieve our goal

    Elvis at the Best Buy in Myrtle Beach came to our home and measured perfectly to get a new television we needed badly. He explained everthing to us and later met him at the store to pick out our new television. We love it!! Elvis helped us so much and extrememly nice then the 2 young men came to deliver and set it up were also extremely nice did a great job!! Will definately use Best Buy and The Geek Squad! We will be back soon!!!!

    Our two consultations with Josh Jones, In Home Advisor, made the difference in our decision to purchase from Best Buy. The first consultation was over the phone and probably lasted close to an hour. His knowledge and expertise quickly became apparent and gave us the confidence for a second consultation with him in the store, after which we made our purchases.

    Steve Holton, our Best Buy Home electronics consultant, patiently waited through sickness and time to finally make an appointment with us concerning a Ring Home security video system outside our home. He was persistent and helpful without being "pushy" and overbearing. When we finally could get together at our home, he listened to our needs and questions, and made practical suggestions concerning which Ring component would fit our needs at various locations around our home. We were very pleased with his down to earth demeanor, yet professionalism and knowledge of the product.

    Expert installer

    Job was to remove a damaged 82" TV and wall-hang a new 85" TV. I needed the TV to be at a specific height above the floor to clear a large center speaker that sits on a console. In order to install the TV, the console needed to be moved away from the wall. The installer used a wall mount provided by me and hit the spot I needed exactly the first time. I have steel studs and he used toggle bolts for the most secure mounting. Perfect after-job cleanup. The old TV went in the new TV's box and went out the door.

    Josh and Eric were incredibly knowledgeable and professional. They asked questions and knew exactly what I wanted. My equipment requirements allowed for no wiggle room, less than 1/2" top to bottom. They installed the unit and made sure I was happy with the final result, which I was. Highly recommend. Tammy
