In-home consultation | Refrigerator replacement

The Consultant was on schedule, quickly provided the options for us choose and confirmed the appointment for in-store ordering. The entire process was very seamless and effective.

Good Consultant,Poor Inventory & Credit Processing

A special combination of IGNORANT & ARROGANT. Long story short, the credit department at Citi is a joke and should be working at Kmart. Almost cost the sale, and wasted more than 6 hours of our time! The inventory situation for appliances is also not the best on the high end side. I suggest planning way ahead if you need certain appliances. I would recommend Best Buy get a new company to issue their credit cards, not the D team at CITI. It has to hurt sales and customer experience, like it did with us.

Great consultation without an upsell

He was patient and spent the time at the house he needed to tell me my options and recommendations. Better still, while I know he could have steered us in a more expensive direction, his advice was to purchase no more than we needed for our room. His honesty speaks to his character as well as the character of Best Buy. Thank you.

Even though the news was not always what she wanted to give, she responded to inquiries dependably and honestly. She helped to problem solve so delivery would be quicker. We felt like we had an advocate who cared during a process that could have been daunting without a knowledgeable guide.

Excellent customer service

His extensive knowledge enabled him to provide excellent advice on what would work best for me. I felt confident about my selection and would not hesitate to contact him when I am ready to make another purchase. I sincerely appreciate his help!

New dishwasher consultation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We worked with Scott at the store in Madison on the west side, and found it was very helpful to have someone compare the options on the different machines for us and give his opinions on the quality of the machines available. We needed to replace our dishwasher due to the racks on the old one rotting away, so we were so glad to find that Scott felt there were good options immediately available. We were totally happy with his help and expertise.

Applicance delayed but Mike kept us informed

Mike was very helpful in helping us get all ordered and set up for a delivery about 45 miles from the store. The refrigerator was delivered on time, but the stove was delayed by almost 4 weeks. Mike helps us try to track down why and stayed in contact with me along the way.

Great transformation on our TVs and sound system

Also cable cutting to move to YouTube. Mayela from Magnolia was excellent with her initial scoping visit. Very consultative rather than hard sell approach. The implementation teamwork were efficient, tidy and very pleasant . We are non tech retirees so were nervous on getting it all working but they fixed it up perfectly. It all works great and easy to use !

Smart Thermostats and Doorbells

I bought two smart thermostats and two Arlo doorbells. He even helped me with smart plugs and switches. However, he should have pointed out I probably needed new lines dropped for the thermostats because my thermostats were the old mercury units. It's costing me an extra $500 to have the lines dropped so the thermostats can be installed. Total Tech representative told me I needed the new lines so the thermostats could be powered. Which was true. Doorbells installed no problem.

Felt confident after consultation.

I was having many questions in my mind about the design of my newly built home. I consulted Best Buy team and they assigned Yesenia to design my room. She was on time and designed fantastic with her expertise. She used to respond whenever I need help and to clarify something. I highly recommend this service. We love audio/video quality and enjoying.

Solved my WIFI problem and more

The Tech came and check all areas of my house for quality of signal. He confirmed that my problem was due to the fact that my laptop was too far away from the Comcast router. He recommended that I order the Amplifi HD WiFi signal amplifier. After I installed this unit, everything works great. As advertised this amplifies the signal for a strong reliable WiFi. Before the Tech left my house he asked if there was anything else he might help me with, I had him check my 4K UHD Tv to see I had the proper settings for best picture, I did not. He also educated me on other WiFi options offered by Comcast. He was great

Fantastic experience

This was certainly a painless way to shop!! My consultant, Kevin, was very helpful and knowledgeable about Smart TV's and what would be involved in the set-up etc. He was patient with me when I asked many questions and explained the services Best Buy offers. I would highly recommend The Home Consultation service, especially if one is considering different alternatives for purchase. The service has no charge. I was so happy with him. I had stopped at the store once prior, so I did see the TV in the showroom that I eventually purchased. Did the entire sale at home!!! Was so awesome!!!

New Appliances and Electronics purchase

He spent time with us, explained features, warranties, help set up delivery, payments, Best Buy rewards, and My Best Buy Total membership plan. Will definitely use his services again in the future and recommend to friends.

Great home expertise,

Rod Chambers, our home expert, delivered all that and more for us despite budget and schedule concerns. Rod is an amazing Best Buy TOTAL asset -- we are very fortunate to have him as our Best Buy POC and advisor.

Home Expert Consultation and Installation

Scheduled an appointment with Alex Osborn to come out and review our needs. He made recommendations, put together some options and ultimately got everything we were after and more. The installation was a great experience as well. Super helpful Geek Squad team made the experience even better. Can't thank these guys enough!

Consulation helped me feel confident

The only issue was that the refrigerator door had to be reversed, which the installers could not take care of. When I called Best Buy they told me that there would be a charge of $75 for someone to come out and reverse the refrigerator door. After a visit to my local Best Buy store, they agreed to send someone out to take care of this with no charge.

I was in the process of closing escrow and she gave me a heads up that it’ll affect my loan approval if I apply for a credit card. Instead she put a price lock on the appliances I want to buy and was able to buy it after my escrow closed. She is fantastic to work with!

She assisted me in my final selection of a Maytag washer/dryer combo. She was professional, polite, and listened. The sale was seamless and quick. Delivery and set up was also seamless but when finished the dryer would not turn on. The driver/ set up guy left after a call was made. Delivery of a new dryer was not definite at this time. I called Yvette and she took all the new information and said she would call back. Within a few minutes she called back and problem was solved. I received a new dryer Monday. Thank you Yvette!!!! We
