We definitely needed an experienced tech to help us with a TV and soundbar selection as well as suggestions to improve our Wi-Fi strength. Our rep Freddy was excellent, he was prompt, kept in-home and in-store appointments and was very professional and efficient. Could not be happier with pre-purchase and installation customer service.

I had asked for someone to review our home security needs and they sent out someone from the Geek Squad to go over my options for home security systems. He was knowledgeable about the brands that BestBuy sells and ones that they do not. He reviewed my home and based on what I was looking for recommended that we stay with the Nest system and expand our security system with the other Nest products. He did not try to oversell me on other products and gave me suggestions that we could implement ourselves. I would highly recommend using this service and I am currently waiting on other Nest products to go on sale to complete our security needs.

We need to help buying appliances and making sure that they fit in the spaces in our kitchen and looked good together. There were a bunch of other small issues that came up that could’ve ruined the job. Audrey was perfectly knowledgeable about all the issues and made the job easy. He also one above and beyond the call of duty helping us find a couple of accessories that really helped complete the job.

We started this journey with Jon at the Utica store. him and everyone to the installers to delivery guys where the best iv see very polite and a few went above and beyond I wish I could remember all of their names. we had a few problems but there where handles fast. thanks to everyone that help with project.

Jason and the Geek Squad (Emily and Matt) were SO helpful from the first consultation to the final installation. They obviously care about and find satisfaction in their work and in the customer’s satisfaction. We will continue to use Jason for future Best Buy purchases!

Zack was outstanding in his knowledge and skill when suggesting television qualities and features. He was not in a rush but listened to my concerns and addressed them accordingly. If anyone is in need of home sales and services Best Buy has the right people for the job.

Andrew is very responsive and knowledgeable. Working with Andrew is very efficient and coordinating with the GeekSquad has been very effective. The ability to reach out to a consultant at Best Buy whom can provide professional advise, coordinate with the Geek Squad to schedule and install the purchased items, is a great service provided to the customer. It differentiates the purchase experience from Best Buys competitors. Thanks!

Tyler helped us with our home theater equipment purchase and install, as well as TVs for our newly remodeled basement. He also helped us with our appliance installs and service. He is a very knowledgeable consultant, and always willing to help. It is great to have one person to consult with on all of our Best Buy purchases. He has exceeded our expectations.

Initial consult was fantastic. Very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. Day of service, very confusing. Gave a four hour window, but due to two waves (one to remove the old TV and the other to install) the morning/day was not efficient, The picture quality was not good due to having an old cable box. Got that upgraded and the picture was better but not great (relative to what was showing in the store). Went to the store and a sales rep told me that it was due to how Comcast sends a signal and that Netflix and others will have better quality. This is correct. However, that point was left out during the sales process. Now I have to try to purchase some streaming products to enhance my picture quality. The TV looks really good on certain channels, but did not expect all of the "buts" after the purchase that includes more of my time and some more money.

I needed assistance in selecting the right TV for my wall and Craig Pellegrini, the Best Buy consultant, came home and I am totally and extremely happy with my TV and Sonos sound system. Craig was extremely knowledgeable in his field, professional, courteous and friendly. I highly recommend Best Buy! They truly know how to delight their customers!

We wanted the best window AC installed properly in a third story window. Because the unit was so high from the ground, an expert install was a priority for peace of mind. Your representative was extremely knowledgeable in both the areas of the appropriate unit to purchase and the safest install suggestions. We purchase many items from Best Buy and have never been disappointed. Thank you.

I didn’t have high expectations for this process as I know there is always a sales pitch and hard sell. I was pleasantly surprised to find neither was the case. Anthony was helpful, easygoing and accommodating. On top of that he ensured I got the best prices and when he wasn’t able to, he didn’t push the matter. It was a huge convenience to get all my shopping done from the comfort of my dining table; all without a desperate salesman breathing down my neck. I am actually looking forward to using the service again. Also already started telling people about it. Whoever thought of this program came up with a winner.

Daniel was exceptional in every regard. He matched our needs & wants in every aspect for a new 65" smart TV with consideration for living room & viewing area. We are both seniors & he gave us an excellent education in plain English in TV brands, models & specs. This intelligent, articulate, friendly young man made the in-home consultation quite enjoyable. David (on line) sent me a good grocery list of products that we needed for our security system. But the associates in the store struggled to locate the camera package that David proposed. After about 40 minutes they located our camera package needed. One item that was missing caused me a return trip back to the store the next day to buy it separately.

Ashley was extremely knowledgeable and listened carefully to the requirements I was seeking — as a novice in this space she helped me to clarify exactly what I was looking to achieve given product options available!

I was hesitant about making an appointment. I was VERY happy that I did though! They listened to exactly what we were looking for, what components that we wanted, and were very helpful to identify if these would provide the desired results with sound and internet. I had the TV, cables, and power surge protector.delivered first because my TV died. The balance of the work and installation will be performed very shortly. It's a little more than I intended to spend, but everything will be done for us, including running wires through the attic and down and out through the walls. I couldn't be happier with the experience so far!!!

Russell McNiece is wonderful. He's amazing. So helpful with all my many questions and never impatient. He can make what seems to me a problem, easily solved. I was very reluctant to go with this part of Total Tec but I would do nothing else now. Why would I wait in line at the store with people buying appliances and taking forever with the sales person when this is available to me. In fact, if another store didn't have this, Total Tec would definitely send me to Best Buy.

I was concerned about replacing my original Sharp microwave drawer with another Sharp product. My consultant, Rick, and I discussed several different options and I finally decided to replace with a new Sharp microwave drawer. I absolutely love it and the installation guys did a great job, too, however, they charged me for it and Rick credited back my Best Buy account for the charge. I was very impressed with Rick's knowledge and friendliness and desire to provide great service. He was awesome.

We had a difficult time with Comcast trying to dismiss the problem. We had an awkward start with Besy Buy when we were told the Geek Squad person was on vacation and would call us the following Monday. He did not. By the end of the week I tried calling back and could not reach a live person or push a button that would connect me to someone! I had to make another visit to the store and was finally called by a Gwek Squad person from your Holland store. He came out, was polite and proficient and our internet problem was resolved with a new router and two “webs”.

Ethan was one of the knowledgable and personable consultants I have ever worked with (in any industry). He showed up on time, prepared, and treated me and my family with the upmost respect. We were looking to install a new 77 inch TV and he came ready with various different options ranked based on his personal preference for my setup. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any IT project you have.
