    I wanted a built-in refrigerator. However after my consult did all the measurements, it was not the best appliance for the area in my kitchen. I was given several options and suggestions by my consultant and then I made the decision to replace my refrigerator with a regular refrigerator that fit my kitchen space and one that had all the features that I wanted. My consultant was on the phone with her manager who also had great recommendations and even forwarded me pictures of refrigerators what would fit in my space available. What a great team! Thanks for all your assistance.

    Great Consultant - Install Prices HIGH

    We had Myra come out for a consultation. She was prompt, thorough and answered all of our questions. We were happy with Myra and her consultation. Although the options were what we will eventually purchase, the prices for installation were very high. $149 to install a Ring Floodlight/Camera. We are buying 4! It is literally a switch out since there is existing wiring. Myra provided an option to have our own electrician install which would be $75/hr. I also asked about a price match for the same Camera/Floodlight which was available at Costco. The Costco package included a free year of cloud services. Myra said that the price match could not be used for this. We ended up purchasing portions of the In Home recommendations but, will definitely look at YouTube to install and save myself $600 in install fees with Geek Squad.

    Justin Williams from Magnolia and Michael Carey from Best Buy at the Minnetonka Ridgedale location are nothing short of amazing. Justin knows everything about setting up the perfect system in your media room inside and out. It’s been so exciting to work with him and pick out the components. We can’t wait to take delivery and enjoy this for years to come! Thank you Justin for being so great and taking such good care of us. I will definitely be calling you, wherever you may be in the future whenever I need to have another set up or new component.

    I used Best Buy’s Home Export for the creation and installation of my media room. I wanted to avoid using a provider that I was not familiar with and that would try to sell me on their own products. Best Buy was competitively priced and was able to provide various options for products. Installation was done very well and the service techs were great.

    I asked Angel from the San Jose Geek Squad to help evaluate my sister home for a smart door bell or security camera or both. He was most obliging and made sure of what my older sister wanted too. He helped me get the perfect gift for her and helped arrange installation. Angel did up-sell me the customer care package to cover the system fir 2 years along with any other Best Buy purchases I make during that time.

    Matt did an excellent job of measuring my home for appliances that would fit in the spaces. He built a proposal of appliances. I liked it, but then I went to the store to actually see the recommended appliances. I definitely got the microwave but found that the refrigerator was not exactly what I thought it would be. The sales consultant, David, was very helpful and we found a refrigerator that I was happy with and David contacted Matt to see it it would fit in the space. He said it would, so I ordered the refrigerator and microwave. It was very helpful to have Matt to talk over my ideas and reasons for getting new appliances!

    Matthew and the install guys were great! I was treated with respect and all questions were asked about the products that I was purchasing. Customer service provided by this group was top notch! My only complaint was with the shipping department. Final set up was delayed further than I wanted, but this was at no fault of the Matthew or his install guys.

    The appointment scheduling was easy online but not by telephone. I was seeking education on what was available in technology to make my home a smart home. I also wanted to go without cable. The service person was very knowledgable and patient with me. The sales person arrived Later than expected because he was misinformed of his schedule. It was a scheduling problem not the technicians error not the technicians error. He was courteous and he listened and answered my questions. It was a nice experience. I Learned what was available and was allowed to make decisions from his recommendations. I have not purchased any of the recommendations yet but in continuing to consider and explore options.

    John Gaquin is an excellent home specialist. We wanted to purchase a new entertainment system for our home. John came out to our house and put together a package with an OLED tv, soundbar, full motion arm, HDMi cables, and other components which we were able to purchase at Cyber Monday prices. Installed and set up by Geek Squad. John was thorough and responsive to our needs. Highly recommend!

    Daniel was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly demonstrated his abilities to communicate/discuss responses to our expressed needs and questions. He could not have been better. It was truly fine to encounter a really bright and experienced person who could share and plan with us to produce the best answers/alternatives for our multiple needs.

    We were looking to upgrade our television and put it in a different place in the room but not sure exactly what we wanted to do. We scheduled a consultation and Mike came to our home. He made some recommendations, then we met him at the store to decide on the tv and a soundbar. The installation crew led by Alex came out and took care of that very efficiently. We are very pleased with the products recommended and the professionalism and helpfulness of the Best But staff.

    The two individuals who performed our in-home consultation were very thorough and since we were upgrading from an in-home theater to a larger and newer TV with Sonos and TV Apple, we went with all their suggestions as far as the upgrade to our system which we purchased based on the in-home consultant's suggestions. They did not "push" selling us on our upstairs - suggested we try the new system in our lower level and then contact them to make sure we knew what we really wanted in the upper level. Great suggestion - we are planning upgrade in the upper level in the Spring with Best Buy!

    We knew from nothing. The concierge service was quite reassuring. Having one person to guide us was very helpful. Only issue was the mounting of our Sonos Arc. The original wall Mount was defective . The replacement sent was for a beam and we needed one for an arc. However being within the Best Buy family paid off. The Geek Squaders were very conscientious and professional. Now with the arc nestled under our TV with no wires showing we are very appreciative of the expertise of the Best Buys’ Geek Squad!

    Alexis Pardo was very professional in guiding and answering our questions about kitchen appliance purchases! It was extremely helpful to have had one single person be in touch with us through the project from removal through installation. So, instead of replacing just one appliance, because of Alexis, we now are very happy with an entire LG kitchen.

    Zack was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions and concerns I had about the space and was very helpful with how to appropriately finish and setup the room for installation when the time comes. I had done plenty of research prior to talking with Zack and the other guys at Best Buy, but it is always reassuring to have someone who is a professional in the field and tell you yes that is correct and/or no that is wrong you should do this for the best xyz. His knowledge was very helpful with making some final adjustments to our room design and will be even more beneficial when it comes time for me to run the low voltage for the room.

    I have to admit when first looking into a consultation my thoughts were the rep would be trying to sell me a bunch a stuff I probably don't need.Santiago is NOTHING close to that. He listened to me regrading what my thoughts & ideas were for everything from the washer & dryer to the TV and stands etc. . He never spoke super technical to me and really wanted to make sure I understand what he was explaining. He was ALWAYS keeping me updated on my orders. Bottom line. ANYONE I know has a need that Best Buy can fulfill I am directing them to Santiago!

    We had been wanting a new home entertainment system for a long time. We are so thankful for the help we received from our consultant Matt. He held our hand through the entire process and we are very happy with the end result. The Geek Squad installers were great. They did clean work and were knowledgeable and efficient.

    Bad experience.

    They arrived 30 minutes late from the appointment window. Drilled two 4” circles which weren’t used because they didn’t check for cross beams first. Left me with holes in the wall and a terrible patch job on the bottom whole. Drilled holes to hand the mount bracket and missed the stud. I could’ve hung the tv myself. Not sure the value of the Total Tech and wish I had just saved my money and not purchased it. Not the most personable installer either. I’m very disappointed in this experience.

    We needed a refrigerator and dishwasher for our corporate office space. Rob Vanhellemont came to our office, measured, and recommended the right appliances for our space--we had several options for each appliance. Also, when the delivery guys didn't know what sort of connection to use for the fridge, Rob came himself and fixed it. Best of all? We never even had to go to the store--Rob came to our office! We highly recommend Rob and the Best Buy concierge services!

    All Questions Answered for a Successful Purchase

    This was an "in store" consultation. We wanted to make sure we purchased the proper size TV for our watching distance and room brightness. We were able to stand at our watching distance and see the features and compare the picture quality of various types of TVs. All of our questions were answered are we are very happy with the result. The TV was delivered the next day and we installed it ourselves. We love our new TV and thank Best Buy and Magnolia for their suggestions and information that made our purchase such a success.
