The appointment was to install 4 cameras for a home surveillance system. I prepaid $300 for the install well over a month before the scheduled install date. After arranging and paying for a property manager to be present during the install, Best Buy unilaterally cancelled the appointment without explanation. I spent hours contacting customer service and being transferred and dropped from one representative to another before someone finally assured me that I would be rescheduled and a credit would be issued on my account for my inconvenience. Eventually I received an email with a new install date and I paid and made arrangements once again for my property manager to be present for the appointment. I received confirmation of the appointment the day before and even the day of service when once again the installer called and unilaterally cancelled the appointment a second time. He cited that he only had a rear wheel drive Geek Squad car that would not be able to maneuver in the snow storm that hit Park City, Utah that day. That is unacceptable since my property manager had no problem making it to the house to wait for the install. How can the Geek Squad operate in Park City, Utah without four wheel drive vehicles in the winter? A third appointment was made after having been promised that Best Buy would make it right. That third appointment date arrived having been confirmed the night before and even the morning of the install. I again paid and arranged for my property manager to be present. Minutes before the scheduled arrival time I received a call from the installer that he cannot make it to the home due to the snow conditions and was going to cancel. I was livid. I arranged for my property manager to pick up the installers and bring them to my home. The installation was extremely simple in that all they had to do was to simply exchange the three already existing prewired cameras and install a fourth along the same run as an existing camera but pointing another direction. My property manager realized the installers had little experience and felt uncomfortable having them to drill new holes into the home to install the fourth camera. In the end, the fourth camera was not installed due to weather conditions and perceived inexperienced installer. The property manager asked if they could make arrangements to have a more experienced installer come to place the fourth camera. As of today nothing has been done. No email, no follow up, no credit on my account and no fourth camera installation. Prior to this experience I have had exemplary service from Best Buy's Geek Squad. I realize this may just be an anomaly but all I ask is that Best Buy make this right for me. Please contact me to resolve this issue.

Alec was extremely helpful. He walked us through options, the benefits and cons of each product and then kept us up to date on delivery and installation timing. Overall a great experience!

We have worked with Doug several times in the past. He is competent and thorough. While we did have difficulty at first in selection of a printer, he came through, despite the current market conditions with a great printer for us that fit the bill!
