Getting a refrigerator was a lot more complicated than I would have imagined. There's a lot more that I could say, but I'll just leave it at that. I do want to say that Kyle Chandler was the one person that I could truly depend on given the challenges that I had getting a refrigerator installed in my house. I think Best Buy would do well to review my specific purchase and delivery.

Initially I would have given this review 5 stars as the consultant came to my house and we spent 1 hour together discussing all new kitchen and laundry appliances along with a new home entertainment system and WI-FI. Consultant gave me some good ideas and sent me a bid and then went on vacation for a week but no problem with that as I needed time to review bid and make some decisions plus he told me he was going on vacation for a week. I made 2 changes to the 6 kitchen & laundry appliances that were selected and had some follow up questions regarding the appliances and the TV package. I met with the consultant at the store for 2 hours when he got back from vacation to go over everything and was ready to order the 6 kitchen & laundry appliances but most could not be ordered (supply chain issues) so no order was placed at that time. I asked for some further options on the TV and a recommendation on a surge protector which he did not include in the initial bid but was fine with everything else in the home entertainment package. At this point we are still at 5 stars. Now things go bad. The following week I see 4 of the laundry & kitchen appliances can be ordered so I sent multiple emails asking if he can order for me while it appears we can get them but he never responded. Tried calling his voice mail and it said it was full and I could not leave a message. I finally placed an order online myself for the 4 items to lock in the special Labor Day savings along with additional 10% off offered by the manufacturer before the sale ended. Still could not order the Refrigerator and Dishwasher but don’t blame the consultant for that. Very disappointed he left me in the dark on the order and no response in over 2 weeks so I thought I would give him one last call to see why I never heard from him but I did not hear back from him. I am a careful shopper and I needed to be brought up to speed on many items I was purchasing and after putting in a total of 3 hours with me we were at the 1 yard ready to score a touchdown with the only thing that needed to be resolved is which TV to pick and I was very close just needed a little more information. I don't get the lack of response? I wanted the home consultant to get credit for the order given the time he spent with me but then he just gave up and so I scrambled to order as much as I could myself online. It's very disappointing and not good customer service. I guess if you are just expected to say yes, yes, yes to all products picked and have it be a 10 minute sale then you can give it 5 stars but if some time is involved in the sale it seems like they dump you as that appears to a prevalent theme on some of the previous reviews I have read. Since this continues to happen I can only assume that management supports this behavior? Ultimately it looks as though I should have purchased my laundry & kitchen appliances through Home Depot at the same price as Best Buy and I could have gotten all 6 of my appliances at the sale price. Now because of the delay in waiting for the consultant I missed my opportunity to get the Refrigerator and Dishwasher at the sale price.
