Listen, if you are ANYTHING like me you can never go wrong with free iCloud since I take SOO many photos and videos. SO this was an amazing incentive to purchase with Best Buy. 10/10 recommend buying apple electronics with them. Plus if you go in-store they ALWAYS answer any and all questions.

I have so many year of use the apple Services and pay for Cloud storage this option as a part of buy a computer is great,

iCloud is by far the best backup tool ever - it works across all my devices n syncs almost instantly. The only downside to any of the subscriptions is that if you’re currently subscribed you don’t get the trial when you purchase another device :( why they can’t extend my current subscription by 30-90 days is beyond me (I know it’s a revenue generator but …). Aside from not getting a month or three free service when purchasing additional devices it’s a great product
