Great game that leaves you fulfilled. Levels are long and enjoyable. I played the whole game and will again.

This is a great game, very colorful, great music, great graphics (esp if you're an SNES/Genesis gamer at heart) and a neat story to go with it, if you please. It's a Limited Run Games release so you know it's good.

This was a complete blind buy for me. I saw it sitting on the shelf and thought i would give it a try. I was suprised to find out that it plays a lot like how a classic sonic the hedgehog game would. It is fun, fast, and has some amazing levels. I would recommend it to most classic sonic fans.

Amazing 2d platformer if you like Sonic your gonna love this. Only negative the voice acting can be a lil cringe

a solid indie platformer that plays like the old sonic games. smooth controls, catchy music, and fun characters kept me satisfied. bosses were cruel at times, though, and the story really drags at some points. otherwise, highly recommended.

What started out as a Sonic the Hedgehog fan game eventually morphed into one of the best indie games ever made. In a lot of ways it feels like a next generation (see Saturn era) 2D Sonic the Hedgehog game we never got. You get up to 3 unique playable characters, 2 variations on the main story and if you don't want to play the surprisingly deep story a straight up old school stage by stage variation. Highly recommended.

Limited Run has done it again by bringing the all time greatest Sonic The Hedgehog "clone" to the Nintendo Switch. This is a fast, frantic and fun flowing game. You will not be dissapointed if you are fans of the 16-bit era of gaming!

fun little sidescroller with sonic-like speed and a great soundtrack to boot!

Freedom Planet is definitely one of the better titles published by Limited Run Games, and a treat to own physically. A lot of influence from older Sonic the Hedgehog titles, though a bit easier in comparison as the older sonic games can be a bit tough for platformer if you actually plan to maintain speed. Nice throwback style title.

You never know what to expect when you give a game a try without any knowledge. This is one of those games. It’s very fun for what it is and try’s to accomplish.

Freedom planet is a very fun 2D sidescroller. It plays kinda similarly to the old sonic the hedghog games on the sega genesis.

If you love classic sonic and megaman your gonna love this game

if you love the fast pace of the sega genessis games you will love this game it has a story mode or you can play the levels in any order

Reminiscent of Sonic Mania and the original Sonic the Hedgehog. Very fun to play, very fast paced as well.

Back when I played this game on the Wii U, I really liked it. The fact that this game was released by Limited Run Games made it clear that I had to have it. It came with a nifty little instruction booklet just like how Nintendo used to bundle with their games. It's too bad I should've waited for ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove, but at least I got that on the Switch. I WILL however, pre-order the GBC Repro Cartridge of the original Shantae from LRG.

If you're a sonic fan, and have been wanting to play a great sonic-like game--this is the game for you!!

Great game Awesome great price. Always having a physical copy is great to have. Not disappointed.
