Do not buy this model!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Takes over 8 hours to charge when dead. It does not hold a charge. Two phones charging will drain it in several hours. Also when using a couple devices one may intermittently shut off

Portable power unit/battery with multiple adapters
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had no idea that this type of portable power unit (battery) existed. The only ones I had ever seen were the small ones that people use to charge their phones or tablets on the go, or the stationary UPS units that people use for computers and other devices. This portable unit weighs eight pounds, which is obviously too heavy to carry around with you all the time, but good if you want to take it in your car or camper on a camping trip or keep around the house to charge phones or power lights during a power outage. The unit is just under 10 inches wide, six and a half inches tall and deep. This power station has a small light on the front, press the button once and it turns the light on, press it again and the light flashes, making it an emergency beacon. Press it a third time and the light flashes faster, the fourth time the light turns off. The small display in the upper left corner of the front tells you how much power you have remaining. There is a handle strap on the top of the unit for easy carrying. There are several different types of connectors. A round car-type charger (cigarette lighter adapter), a USB-C connector, four standard USB connectors (two quick charge and two regular), one 12-volt plug and two standard plug ins (for standard two-prong household plugs). It's extremely handy for charging phones and devices, since you can plug USB cords directly into the unit. The power adapters that most phone chargers use take up a lot of space, so it's nice to have something to power them without the adapters. While using the power station (after charging it to full power), I charged multiple devices, plugged in my laptop and ran it for a couple of hours and hardly made a dent in the power reserve. It's not going to take the place of a generator, but it's portability is great for traveling in a car, camping or boating. Around the house it would be great during a power outage or taking outside during a BBQ or party to run a sound system or lights if there aren't any plugs handy.

Excellent for random power outages
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far in my limited testing everything is working great. Its small but powerful. There are all kinds of ways to power up devices and more ports and options than any others I have seen on the market. It's portable and light with a very high quality leather handle. I have so far charged a laptop, tablet, 2 cellphones and ran 2 lamps and a led smart home device with no problems. The flashlight is really bright and can also flash in the event it was needed in an emergency. Charging was on par with what was listed by Fremo. The digital readout is the star of the show in my opinion. This is where most of these fall behind. It gives you all the information you could possibly need. You are able to see the power draw and battery levels in real time without any guessing or concerns which is exactly what you would want to know in a power loss situation. The separate on/off controls for each charging zone is great also and prevents any accidental battery loss or potential safety problems. Make sure you read the manual and understand what this can and cannot do prior to using the first time. Very nice work Fremo.

Lightweight portable power!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome portable power and versatility that does not weigh a ton. This device is about the size of a loaf of bread and is light enough that pretty much anyone should be able to transport it. Not that I dropped it, but it seems built incredibly sturdy and would be great on any trip where power may be at a premium, such as camping. I used multiple connections for testing, all of which to charge my iPhone. The AC adapter took a couple hours to fully charge my phone, using roughly 10% of the battery. I then tried the USB C and same battery usage (makes sense) but it charged much quicker. So how did I know about the percentage? Why the sweet display that shows how charged the unit’s battery is, %, and how much wattage the unit is outputting. The unit doesn’t come with cables other than it’s own charging cable, so keep that in mind when purchasing/packing it. Though any charging cable you already own should work with the unit. The light on the side is incredibly bright and adds even more utility. Charging the unit itself took a few hours.

Portable, Many Charging Options, Powerful
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a well made and portable power station with many features. The design of the power station is very thought out. The front has an easy to read display that shows the remaining battery level, the input watts, output watts, and source being used. There are also buttons for each section that act as an on/off switch. There is also a light that can be solid or flashing. There are outputs for DC (12v/10a) and 12v 8a. AC output of 300 watts - which is great for small appliances or accessories with a regular plug. USB A output - 2 5v/2.4z ports and 2 quick charge 3.0 ports. There is a USB type C port that can do 100W power delivery. The last port is the DC in, used to fill the battery using the included power brick, The best feature so far has been the USB type C. This is for input and output - something that most power banks do not have. This means I can charge the power bank using the same cable that I use to charge my laptop. And, use that same USB type C cable to then charge devices from the powerbank. This is important because of the portability of this device, I don’t need to carry the DC in adapter that it comes with because I have my laptop charger with me. I’ve found that the input/output display is great for checking how many watts a charging cable can do. For example, I had a cable that I thought was for fast charging but the power station showed it was not. I was able to use this during a scheduled power outage, and keep a laptop and phone charged so that I could continue to work during the outage. This will be great to have during emergencies and to use when camping or when working in different places.

Nicely built and sized power station.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't say enough good things about this little battery pack. It's solidly built, very portable and surprisingly capable. You can run any combination of loads on the AC and DC outputs and get nearly an hour out of the battery even with the AC output pushed to it's 300W max. It's not quite enough to run a full-sized refrigerator when the compressor kicks in, but it would run a lamp or two (particularly with an LED bulb) or other lighter loads for quite awhile. More realistically, you can charge smaller batteries (like cell phones and tablets) many, many times over during an extended power outage or long trip away from electrical outlets and - with the addition of a relatively inexpensive 100W folding solar panel, you have potentially infinite power to do so. This power station will accept 80W charging input, making a 100W solar panel just enough overkill to provide close to full power even under less than ideal sunny conditions. A small, portable pack like this one is great for a glamping trip with cell phones in tow or even a small TV. The only thing I might like is a timer showing time remaining on current load, but you can do the math yourself in a pinch. It's a perfect little battery pack for my emergency and occasional camping needs.
