Works great for our '05 truck

Bought this for her for Christmas and she loves it. It works flawlessly. The only downside is that you always have to remember to unplug it from the cigarette lighter as it doesn't turn off on its own, but that is just a minor inconvenience.

Better in newer vehicles

In my ‘96 Mazda I get a high pitch, throttle related whine. In the truck, while towing a trailer that uses an electric brake controller, I get some static/whine, when the brakes are applied. Otherwise, this product has been a good product. I’ve been using it virtually every day, regardless of the idiocincracies.

Great for older cars

This allows you to listen to any music you have on your cell phone over the speakers in the car. You can get some static at time but all you need to do is to switch to another frequency.

Not Great

The price for this is just too much for it to stop working after 2 months... I had one for a cheaper price and it lasted me from 2012 to 2017. The reason I bought this one is because my old one finally gave out after 5 years of use. I don't recommend this product at all.
