So maybe was a return? No idea. But we’d been without a dishwasher a few weeks, my husband didn’t want to mess with taking it back once we got it out of the box. The dishwasher itself is a basic model. We had a nicer one before but it only lasted 7 years. I notice it’s louder, but it’s ok. Not as many options, I’m ok with that also.

Compared to our old dishwasher it produces about the same noise which isn't much. There are less settings on this model but we never used all of the extra settings anyway. The dishwasher was easy to set up and gets all of the dishes clean. It could use a little more drying power but other than a few random dishes everything dries well. For the price I'm very happy with the purchase.

While Frigidaire dishwashers are designed to handle typical food residue, it sounds like this one didn’t meet your expectations. Pre-rinsing shouldn’t have to feel like a full wash, and if the cleaning performance isn't where it should be, that's worth looking into.
