  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: true (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

Q: What is the noise level

A: Thank you for reaching out, Nonie. We understand your concerns about the dishwasher noise level. After researching, the dishwasher’s noise level is 62 decibels. -Chris

Q: Why doesn’t it dry

A: Ours doesn’t dry great on larger loads. If you did a smaller load you’d probably see better results

Q: Hi, my handyman says it has adjustable feet so 35 inches would work even thought the space is 34,5, is that correct? Thank you.

A: This model of dishwasher has a minimum height of 33-1/2” and a maximum height of 35”. So as long as the cut-out height its being installed into is within these parameters, it should fit. Let us know if you have any other questions! ~ Margaret

Q: Was the item supposed to come with an insulation blanket, or does it not need one?

A: Hello, Nina! The model you selected does not come with the insulation blanket, as it is not needed. ~Courtney

Q: frigidaire 24" How can i change from normal cycle to Quick cycle?

A: On this model, there is a normal and a heavy setting. That is all. The normal setting takes about an hour, compared to my old dishwasher, that is pretty quick. Also, the dishes are CLEAN when it's done.

Q: what does it cost to take an item away?

A: Looks like it's $59.99 but only available when you select to have the new one delivered and installed. Try selecting that and the option to have the old carried away should populate, if available.

Q: How many decibel is this model

A: This unit is rated at 62 dBA. More information can be found on the specification guide by using the following link https://content.syndigo.com/asset/c09d1793-dffc-444c-b588-9b29383b9043/original.pdf. - Kailey

Q: Does this come with a vent. I have read that it must have one for full drying.

A: Hi, CJ! Yes, the Frigidaire FDPC4221AB dishwasher is equipped with a venting system designed to expel hot, moist air during the drying cycle. This helps prevent moisture buildup inside the appliance and promotes effective drying of your dishes. We hope this helps! - Patrick

    Budget friendly dishwasher.

This dishwasher works great. We have had it for 3 months now and works great. Our dishes are spotless. If you are on a tight budget I highly recommend. It does not have a delay button and is noisier than our last one but does not bother us and we have a great room that includes kitchen dining and family room in one space. We are able to watch tv while it's running and the noise does not interfere.

    Great basic dishwasher

We are satisfied with the dishwasher for the price. It washes our dishes well. It’s not ultra quiet, but our household is noisy anyways. We don’t need anything beyond the normal wash mode, if this thing lasts 10 years it will only cost about $20/year of service. At first we couldn’t even get the dishwasher to open. Then, it took a little bit of extra fiddling to make the door open and close without tipping or snapping closed. Once you get it adjusted the way you like it, it’s a great basic dishwasher. Sometimes a really sticky spoon is still sticky but that’s on us for not scraping it off and trying to wash all thirty of our spoons simultaneously. Glass dishes are mostly dry even without the heated dry on. Anything that’s still wet just hangs out in the counter, I’m just grateful that I don’t have to spend all evening scrubbing dishes.

    Affordable good looking dishwasher

Great cheap dishwasher, nothing fancy but works great, install wasn't too bad but not easy with the waterline under the front in a angle , you'll understand once you install it unless you hire someone lol .
