It seems that it washes for hours, it’s never fully dry, and overall I don’t feel like it cleans as thoroughly as any dishwasher I’ve had in the past

Posted .Hello, SamD! Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are not pleased with your dishwasher. For optimum performance, using a rinse aid has proven to be helpful. Also try using the High option on the model. During the high option, the dishwasher heats water in the main wash to approximately 140F (60C) and increases the temperature higher in the final rinse. This helps the dishwasher detergent remove food grease and soil from dishes more effectively and aids in drying performance by adding additional rinse aid and increasing the water temperature. Replaced a 29 year old GE Dishwasher. The Frigidaire is much quieter, definitely quieter that the old dishwasher. The only thing I miss from the old dishwasher was a top heater element for drying. Need to wipe off some items, but no big deal. Dishes come out really clean!

I bought a NEW dishwasher and not anything else.
