Two weeks later the control board has failed. The cost of repairs exceeds the cost of the dishwasher. I do not recommend this model FDPC4314AS

Generally, I like the sleek designs and quality for price. This dishwasher was no exception at first. Quiet, efficient, sleek. But apparently it was not built for longevity, as so many other reviewers have commented. Mine was installed in January 2023. I live alone, and I travel a fair amount - so I would be surprised if it was run more than 50 times total, and one day about 2 months ago, it just would not power on. Dead. Checked with my electrician - he thinks it is probably the control panel. Have tried to call a couple of appliance repair companies, but no one services them, and I am outside of the two year warranty. Terrible quality - makes me rethink the entire brand!
