    Does not cool as well as website advertised. Upon receiving the unit, the box clearly states for rooms up to 250sq ft. Far from the 550~700 other reviews claim. Did cool down the room but took hours.

    I buy this item in open box but I receive only the unit without 1 well, in bad conditions for the carrier company and was missing the hose the control remote and the window accesories bad purchase the open box if you want to buy order the new only

    This thing is amazing. We had ours for almost 3 years now still in top shape. We mostly use the dehumidifier.

      Hello! DOE SACC Cooling Power is 6500 BTU. Below are few helpful tips for cooling:

      • For a room temperature below 60°F (16°C), cooling may not occur until room temperature rises above 60°F (16°C).
      • Reset to a lower temperature.
      • The Compressor does shut-off by changing modes. Wait approximately 4 minutes and listen for the compressor to restart when set in the COOL mode.
