    The first unit delivered was damaged and had to be returned. But the replacement unit was ok and seems to work well.

    Yikes where do I begin. Lets start with the wondow kit. The window kit it comes with would only maybe work for the smallest window in the world. Oops! You will assuredly need more foam strips. Once you have gone back out and purchased everything for the window kit, you’ll learn that the exhaust hose connecter does not fir the hose. Oops! Hopefully you have duct tape on hand. I will consider revising my review if I ever get this product installed.

    I bought this AC and wasn't able to install it for a few days, but when I did it was BROKEN. The compressor is making a horrible and abnormal rattling sound, like there are components loose on the inside. This item was damaged when it left the factory. Their customer support is HORRIBLE. I called them and submitted a warranty claim because it was outside of the best buy return window. Their warranty department denied the claim saying that it's within the best buy return window (which it isn't). After wasting hours of time on the phone with various customer service representatives, I'm literally stuck. Their support team was offensive and insulting by suggesting that I should've "tested" it before buying, which is absolutely absurd since I bought it online. They claim that there is no way to get in touch with their "back office"--they are the ones who decide on the warranty claims and apparently can't be contacted. AVOID FRIGIDAIRE!

    Got this in May of this year by October the unit started making loud noises. Called company directly they been giving me run arounds for over a month now. Said they replacing unit all approved and will get it within 7 days. Called after 8 days told me to keep waiting dont know what is the delay. Waited 8 days again and called today told me that my unit was shipped to wrong place. Never send me a tracking nothing. First customer service told me they have tracking then 10 mins later they didnt have it. The product was good when it worked but customer service is a nightmare. They send me an email to extend my warranty but cant send me an email on whats going on with my case. Probably last product I got from this company.

    I wish I didn’t purchase. I bought it for my small bedroom and it barely cools the room. It’s also extremely noisy. It does this odd thing where it’s always loud but then it ‘kicks on’ and makes an even louder noise. It does this constantly and it’s very annoying. I wish I could return.

    I set the temperature to 73 degrees but the machine keeps running at 65 degrees. The thermostat is useless

    FYI for anyone considering this AC… - you will likely need hacksaw to cut the side panel plastic to adjust to the width of the window and install properly. The side pane is sooooo long. - After all of that effort installing, the first time I used the AC, it started leaking from the bottom and I was only using the cool mode not dry. So there should be no water collecting at all bc it only collects it if on dry mode, and it was leaking at the bottom not where the water should dispense to empty it. - On top of leaking, the AC made these crackling noise after I turned on cool mode. I expect that AC will have some noise (those normal ac sounds lol) but it was making noise like there was something inside, not normal. I had read some other reviews about this AC leaking and I should of continued looking at other brands/models. I returned it right away.

    Bought twice, died within two years twice

    Bought this unit the first time, and it died within 2 years, so the manufacturer replaced it, as it then had a 3 year warranty. The replacement unit died right at 2 years, however the manufacturer changed their warranty to 1 year. As it is out of warranty, we are on our own having to replace this unit yet again. These should last 5 to 10 years, and both combined only lasted 4 years. Total waste of money.
