If you hear noise from the unit while in cooling mode, below are a couple of troubleshooting tips.
• You may hear an air movement sound. This is normal. If too loud, set to lower FAN setting.
• You may receive vibration from the unit being on an uneven floor. Move or support appliance correctly on even surface.
If the air from your unit is not cool enough, listed below are some helpful tips.
• Room temperature below 60°F (16°C). Cooling may not occur until room temperature rises above 60°F (16°C).
• Reset to a lower temperature.
• Compressor shut-off by changing modes. Wait approximately 4 minutes and listen for compressor to restart when set in the COOL mode.

INACCURATE ROOM SIZE INFO: WILL NOT COOL 450 SQ FT

I should have filtered by the 1-star reviews before buying, it would have saved me a lot of headache. The product specs say it will cool a room up to 450 sq ft, but the actual item's package says it'll only cool a room up to 250 sq ft. BE AWARE OF THIS WHEN PURCHASING. For me, that's way too little square footage for the price, so I returned it. Best Buy, please update your information!

Broken and Missing Pieces

It was missing the window connector piece and was cracked in the back. Best Buy said they’d replace it but I decided just to buy a new window unit piece on Amazon. Started using it 4 weeks after I got it (heat wave) and it leaked water all over. Found a crack on the bottom which was where the water was leaking from. Best Buy would not honor a return since it was past the return date. Absolutely ridiculous and poor of Best Buy. I did purchase a warranty on it so I got a new one, but I shouldn’t have had to use it for something I bought just 30 days prior.

Buyer Beware

Bottom line, this was suppose to be one of the better ones. Go with a cheaper one or get the extended service warranty. Buyer beware. Getting service is not possible via BestBuy out of warranty, and the manufacture repair service is a joke on the phone. Lastly, good luck getting a repairman to service these units - they won’t want to waste their time, in my wxperience

Great at first then problems quickly.

Fast forward to two months later and the unit pumps cold air for a couple minutes, shakes violently then just blows air and no longer cools. I would skip this model completely and maybe even this brand.

Not holding up well in NYC heatwave

Not worth it

Avoid this and buying from Best Buy

Frigidaire 3 in 1 ac unit

We have a med sized 2nd story bedroom and it kept it cool enough to escape our otherwise 90 degree plus two story house. Very easy to install, we didn't even have to take the screen out of our window. It is a little bulky, heavy as we are older but made it up the stairs. I would give it 5 stars if the decibel level was a little lower but we were both able to sleep well when it ran. I am hyper sensitive to noise so this may be a problem for some, but again it was tolerable and the cool air was great. We have only used the AC not the fan (a little louder it seemed) and not the dry option. I would recommend either this unit or a similar style. Only had it a month though so can't comment on how long it will last. Easy to order with Best Buy also.

Best Buy is false advertising

It was sold as open box, which was supposed to be new & have all parts. We bought this 2nd one since the 1st was a good AC, but received an open box instead of a "new" one. Best Buy would not give us the open box discount so we returned it. Bestbuy gets a zero review for sending us used ACs even though we paid for new ones, Best Buy is false advertising.

Keeping it chill.

The unboxing wasn’t too bad. It does have some weight to it but once it’s out of the box it’s on wheels so moving to each location isn’t too bad. Setting it up it pretty easy I didn’t have any issues. I do wish the tubing was a little longer it has great feel and durability but it does get stiff and when trying to get to a higher window makes it a little annoying but that’s minor. There are a few settings you can use to either purify, cool, and dehumidify. It does purify the are at the same time which it a plus to do both. The cooling is what I mainly use. It cools very well. I used it in my master bedroom and it cooled within 30-45 minutes. You can also put it on a timer so you don’t accidentally leave it running. I put in on when I went to bed and it stopped exactly after the timer elapsed. The remote is good but you have to be in line of sight or else it won’t take the changes. It’ll show on the remote but you need to sync up by pressing a button while pointing at it if you do it without the device beeping. The vent fan does oscillate to allow for a spreading of the air up and down. One gripe I have but it may be minor because it’s my first AC unit is that it is pretty loud when it gets going. So that may be a factor. But overall it has a great look, very easy to set up and use. I would definitely recommend it.

It does not make sense there are no gaps in set up and I even have a fan pushing the air into the room from the table near it.

No longer a BB customer after this...

Contacted BB via chat and phone, and both told me only option was to return for refund as no stores in my area carry this model. This was Geek Squad certified like new, that says a lot about BB not being trustworthy.
