    It only blew 10 degrees below the room temperature. Also, the specs online said it cooled 450 sq ft room. THe box said 250 sq ft.

    Bought this unit and the remote is missing. Bestbuy won’t help me at all. Horrible customer service. Buy it somewhere else.

    Falls apart easily

    The attachment from the window to the machine falls apart easily. Nothing like having the AC on all day just to discover an unbearably hot room because the hose fell off and hot air was dispensed into the room all day.

    More like a fan than AC

    This product was not worth the money spent 10000 btu and my entire apartment is hot I have a 1bdrm it barely cools of the Livingroom feels more like a fan than an AC I will never purchase fridgaire products again If I didn't have to work I sure would have return it

    I had to return this because it did not produce cold air. I heard compressor working but there was no cold air.(I installed the vent properly.)

    My AC showed up a couple weeks late after recieving my initial shipping notice, and when it arrived it was obvious that it had had a perilous journey. The bottom of the box was tapped back together and it had been wrapped in a few layers of cling wrap. However once I cut the banding and removed the outer cardboard, the inside was just fine, with everything well packaged. I removed everything and started trying to figure out how everything goes together. It was easy enough to figure out, but I read the installation instructions just to check for any surprises, which I didn't find. It's pretty intuitive to set up. Simply install the included window spacer into your window with the included foam seals, screws, and locking bracket, then clip in the exhaust hose and attach the other end of the exhaust hose to the back of the main unit. Plug in the wall turn it on and you're basically done with the set up. Super easy. I did have to modify the included window spacer bracket slightly because my window was a tad to narrow, but a quick cut with a hack saw blade was all I needed. Once installed in my bedroom window I turned it on and adjusted the temp and fan speed. I was amazed at how powerful the fan is! Low speed is all you need in a normal sized room. It does make a little more noise than I expected, but I actually like it louder. I usually sleep with a fan going at night to block out the back ground noise. One thing I did notice was that if I change any of the settings manually the remote settings no longer line up correctly, but it's easy enough to resync them so it's no big deal. As far as performance is concerned this bad boy is amazing. It doesn't even struggle keeping my room cool, even on the lowest settings. It's actually doing such a good job that I was able to turn down the living room AC and the ac in my work out room as well. I'm very impressed.

    Thought I'd save a little money buying open box. My whole house was hot. Trying to be the hero and after all of that, it only blew hot air.
