Best air conditioner for keeping cool

I have a smaller old house with high ceilings and poor insulation. These two units along with an old window unit are keeping me cool for the first time in history. In fact I keep turning the temperature setting up as it is often chilly. The noise level is moderate compared to a previous portable I owned. The swing feature allows for greater dispersal of cool air. The only negative for me was the window panel. It feels thin and doesn't seal well while the hose attachment can slip out easily with a bit of jostling.
