It’s also kind of loud.

At first I was like it's not conditioning the room well, but after we let it run a while- boy it is well worth the 359. I have to admit it is bulky and I would have like the door to open a little wider, but all in all, I'm pleased. I actually recommended it to a few friends and I'm thinking about ordering another, but 12,000 btu's. 8,000 btus will not be sufficient for my living room. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, the set up is very easy!

I used it to cool just one large room. The room was actually smaller than what specs stated it could cool. Although it couldn't keep it as cool as details about the machine stated, I attribut it to the horrible summer heat of Florida.

Not ideal for my campter

I thought it would be able to handle it, but it didn't really have the power to keep the camper cool during the day at all. It worked fabulously at night when the sun wasn't beating down.

For optimum performance during the day, try to set the temperature to a lower cooler setting, make sure your air flow is not restricted, position the air louvers for better air distribution, and check to make sure all windows doors, registers, etc are closed. If you are operating the appliance in a hot room, please allow additional time to remove stored heat from walls, ceiling, floor, and furniture. Hopefully, this helps.
