I’ve owned this unit only 3 weeks but it’s wonderful! I live in Washington so it doesn’t get incredibly hot but it has been muggy the last couple weeks & this has really helped. I use it in our master bedroom, which is pretty big, and it does the job. I work out in my bedroom. I turn this puppy on about 10 mins before my workout so that it’s freezing in there & it makes my workouts so much more comfortable! I love that it has a remote, has a sleep setting, is decently quiet & cools the room fast.

Instructions are lacking, the window setup is a terrible setup. Aside from that don’t try to cool a huge room. Go a few thousand BTU above. Do the research to avoid carrying this back to exchange it. Another one might be more expensive but it’ll do a better job because it’s meant for a bigger room.

It really keeps a room cool you can feel the difference when you walk in the room . I don’t like that you have to be draining it or it gives error codes and won’t cool it’s very heavy and for a small room it takes a lot of space. But overall I’m happy with this product.

Out the box... the inside of the box was wet. I don’t know why. Instructions said to let sit for an hour before turning on. It kept shutting off. After five hours it finally ran normally. During some near 100 degree days it was turned on high, and i noticed some condensation at the vents. Then it started making dripping sounds so loud i turned it off so that i could sleep. Upon restart those things haven’t happened. I now used the timer and i mainly use it at night. Definitely a learning curve. I like that the vent to outside has wire on it. Would hate for a bird to go in the tube. For the great sale price of $100 off it does the job. It will keep you comfortable, not freezing like a window unit which is what i wanted.

My husband loves everything about this AC. My only complaint is that it is slightly loud. My husband isn’t bothered by the noise, however, and actually finds it soothing. I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking to cool your home quicker during those hot summer months!

Nice quality for a small-to-medium size room. I have used it now for several summers, and it's been excellent. My room is a bit on the large size, so on the really hot days, it doesn't make the room into a refrigerator, but it does cool it down well. Be sure you have a window nearby where you plan to place this, as you will need to vent it out a window.

I've been looking for AC to keep me cool during the hot summer, saw this on special and decided to try it out,the set up is pretty easy and it keeps the area fresh, not cool enough for 100 degree days I'd say, but it works for the area recommended

Needed a small and portable room air conditioner for a room in my house that gets too much sun. This has worked out perfectly. Cools down the room very quickly. Only downside is it can be a bit noisy but overall this was a great and reasonably priced purchase.

Cold as ice, somewhat portable and is loud even in the slowest setting.

The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the window setup is very complicated and time consuming. I think they could’ve offered better supplies for the window. You may need to make use of random things in your house such as cardboard and tape for extra sealing or take a trip to home depot. Other than that this AC is super powerful, my room gets really cold in less than 5 minutes! You’re going to need a decent-sized bucket to collect the water that drains out. Depending on the temperature set, the bucket can fill up pretty quickly. I’ve accidentally let mine overflow a few times. Overall, I am very thankful for this product as I struggled to find a proper A/C that would fit my horizontal sliding window. Definitely recommend!

Instructions for hook up needs to be improved. Very confusing for non tech savvy like me. Finally figured it out and it works great. Still don't like the hose that runs from the a.c. to the window. Plus it takes up a lot of space.

I love this ac! Keeps my bedroom nice and cool! Pros: easy set up, easy to use, very clear directions. Cons: I’m just wondering if everyone has the tools to cut the extended window piece to size? Because I don’t have the tools for that... therefore, I’ve stuffed towels into the opening... because the extended piece is too long but the regular window piece is too short. Oh well!

Bought for power outages due to storms. Tried in a 16 x 16ft room and cooled with no problems in humid 90+ temps. Very easy to move and set up. Very portable. Window vent easily modified to fit a 3x5 window with a hack saw. So far so good!

This air conditioner has literally saved me during the hot summer months. It’s used to cool a room 2/3 the size of its capacity and it does just that, keeps the room nice and cold. You will need to have access to a window in order to vent the hot air to the outside, the unit is also loud when in operation. They are however small prices to pay for comfort. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone.

Purchased this for my bf his room is in the attic of the house so a window unit was out of the question as the window is too small. It does a great job at cooling the room up. It has a swing option which is really neat and helps filer air around and not just points the air up in one direction.

Easy use and worked good to cover most of my apartment. This would be Awesome for a large room or to cool your master bedroom!!! I bought the bigger version and this unit works almost aswell as that one does.

OMG....I absolutely LOVE this AC unit. I live in a one bedroom condo with high ceilings. The cost of AC in the summer in DC can break the bank!! Not to mention, my unit AC has had to have maintenance multiple times over the years. This portiable AC unit literally cools down the entire condo. I am one of needs it freezing when I sleep and this delivers!! I rate this purchase right up there with my SUV (snow/hauling things), and my rescue dog, as the best things I ever decided to get!!

Easy to install, great size works perfectly for a master bedroom.
