The BTUs should be sufficient for this size room .. The unit does not even push out cold air and I plan on returning this item to the store .. DO NOT BUY!

Posted .Oh, no! We are sorry to hear the air conditioner you received did not cool your space. In very hot conditions, the air conditioner may take a few hours to acclimate, and the air coming out may only feel a few degrees colder. Please allow the air conditioner to run continuously for 24 hours to get the temperature down to a manageable level!
