It just doesn't cool down the room as good as it should. The unit is huge and takes up a lot of room. The AC unit has electrical issue after only used it for one summer and is constantly tripping the breaker. I call Frigidaire for assistance but they will not do a anything to help. 1. Be careful you when you call them. The rep told me she was looking for troubleshooting instruction then came back in less than a min and told me there's nothing they can do. If the unit doesn't work at all then they would have sent a replacement, but since the unit is only tripping the breaker and isn't cool enough. At best they can do is to share contact info for electricians and I will have to cover the cost to fix the service.

However, during the recent heat wave when temps in the south bay area of LA were 95+, it did not even come close to cooling a small room, less than 350 sq feet- even after a few hours. Very disappointing. We returned the second one unopened.

We recommend cooling the area up to 350 sq. ft. You may also find that adjusting the temperature to a colder setting and closing the door and blinds to the room may also help with the cooling performance.

Very heavy did not work from day 1. Would come on sometimes and then quit. Returned it ! I would not recommend it. Had it for 3 weeks. Best Buy would not give me my money back gave me store credit which is useless since I don’t intend shopping there.

Posted .Depending on the layout of the area, it may not cool the complete 350 sq ft. Ensure that all windows and curtains are closed to reduce the amount of heat that enters the environment. If the room temperature is very high, the air exiting the unit may not feel cold. Air exiting the unit is usually between 17°-20°F lower than the Intake air, and may not feel cold to the touch until the room temperature is reduced.
