Good air conditioner but a bit loud

Previously I had used a portable air conditioner and it was louder. I like that it creates "white noise" that drowns out other sounds when I want to sleep. I have it in my bedroom which works for me. But like I mentioned and others have, it is not quiet and may bother you.
