Here are some friendly tips to keep in mind with getting the best cooling performance for your home comfort appliance. *Ensure the capacity of the room air conditioner fits your room size for efficient and satisfactory operation. * Try installing your air conditioner on the shady side of your home/room. A window that faces north is best because it is shaded most of the day. * External house shading with trees, plants or awnings will help reduce the air conditioner’s workload.

Please ensure that you have the recommended size air conditioner for your space! This model is recommended for rooms of 300 to 350 square feet. Thought it would be better

I barely feel a difference between the 2 and this one is a 8000 btu. If I'd still have the box I probably would of returned it. It certainly wasn't worth the $400 price tag.

However, we do recommend fitting the air conditioner to the size of your room for the most efficient cooling. This model is built to cool a 350 square foot room, and will be less efficient when in a room that would better suit a 6000 BTU model.
