Posted .Thank you for your feedback, Ddlatman. Do you happen to have your air conditioner set to "Sleep" mode? When this mode is enabled, the selected temperature will increase by 2 °F 30 minutes after the mode is selected. The temperature will then increase by another 2 °F after an additional 30 minutes. This new temperature will be maintained for 7 hours before returning to the originally selected temperature. This ends the “Sleep” mode and the unit will continue to operate as originally programmed. You may also cancel sleep mode at any time by again pressing the sleep button. Hope this helps! Jennifer

The same noise, so loud and i hate this unit but now im stuck with it.

Well it's louder then the older one way way louder . That's why I had to take it back asap

Based on the BTUs it should have covered the space but unfortunately it did not do a very good job. It also took a very long time to cool down the room at all. Pretty disappointed.
