I purchased this air conditioner a couple years ago and love it. i like it so much I am getting another one to replace the one in a separate room. Pros: cools quickly, quieter than most others, strong fan, very energy efficient, nice design. Cons: I had to drill a small hole to help drainage of condensate

Purchased to replace a bedroom unit. $250 was more than I wanted to spend, but it was the only unit under $300 8,000-10,000BTU. Bedroom gets full sun all day, 68-69 setting gets the room cool. Noise level - ok for sleeping, turn volume up to watch TV.

Best air conditioner! I purchased it in 2017 and its 2024 and still running strong

It was just what we needed. it cooled off the front room in no time. The temperature of the room was also displayed on the remote control. How awesome is that!

After 2 years of use, I can honestly say I wouldn't buy this unit knowing what I do now. (Note- My previous A/C was smaller, different brand, cost <200 bucks, and worked fine for about 15 years) First, the positives. This unit cools very well and quickly. Fan is also a good option. it's efficient--my summer electric bills dropped noticeably. Now the negatives. It is LOUD, LOUD, LOUD. Too loud...it's in my living room and makes watching TV/listening to music/phone conversations almost impossible, or at least, very diificult. For me, reason enough not to buy it. The other issue is that after a year or so, the 'economy' setting that allows for temperature regulating stopped working properly...so you can set a temp, but often, it will not cool to that temp. Some nights we wake up sweating and other times, shivering from cold. Also, Customer Svc isn't the best.

This was a must have for the summer weather. Install was easy and unit does the job. Price was reasonable compared to other 800 btu units

Did my homework before purchasing this unit, July 2016. Bought this model based upon all the advertised features that I am needing, one of them being quiet. Does a good job cooling and dehumidifying a medium size room. However, very disappointed that it is not a quiet air conditioner. Would return but lack the muscle power to do so. Buyer beware.

Great a/c cools off the room. con its a little noisy so if you want quiet this is not your unit

Bought this when I lost the fan on my AC unit as we were approaching 90 deg days. Ended up getting two, one for master bedroom, one for my son's room. keeps the temp well regulated. has many features, including remote. the compressor kicking on wakes my son so we just use fan only at night on his. works well and has taken the edge off this heat.

Decent unit, doing what it is supposed to. Mounting was easy. I chose not to drill into my vinyl windows because we remove the unit in the winter. I is being used on the second floor to cool the bedroom. My daughter says it is fairly quiet and works very well.

I purchased this air conditioner because the one I had already wasn't cooling off my living room enough. After a few hours on, I noticed a big difference with this one. It cooled of half of my 3bd room apartment. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to buy a new air conditioner

Bought this unit last summer and I am very pleased. Cools better than any window air conditioner I have ever used..

At Best Buy, I special ordered the LG 8000 btu unit, as I had read some positive reviews. It came faster than expected. We took it home, hauled it up three flights of stairs, and spent an hour or so installing. When set to "Cool", the compressor came on an made such a horrendous buzzing sound, we knew it had to be returned. Ugh. Best Buy took it back, no questions asked, and we picked up the Frigidaire unit available on the floor. Very pleased with the install kit, superior to LG's. Nice, finished appearance in the room and the unit runs quiet and cool.....after some meaningful frustration with the process and physical effort of making the switch, very satisfied with this unit.

Super impressed!! Cools my living room really good! and even though I only have a curtain separating the kitchen still keeps living room nice and cool!! Definitely would recommend great air-conditioner

Nice little window unit for when the temperatures rise.

Originally bought 8,000 btu - didn't cool enough. Room 12'x23' with 12' ceilings. Hallway and Kitchen 12'x12' . This cools great. Runs quiet for Thru-the-Wall AC.

Bought this rather than the portable kind. Didn't want to deal with having to empty the water out. It works very well in my daughters upstairs bedroom.

This AC has all the features you may want: energy savings, fan, and remote sensor. It was also relatively easy to install.
