I installed this in a 400 sq ft room and the cooling capability is average at best. In addition the fan speed is not very fast which attributes to its fair performance

Unfortunately that is the exrent of the good news. I live in a 375 sq ft studio and it can't even keep that cool. The temp outside is 95⁰ and I can't get it to cool under 75⁰ even after running all day and all night. I bought it on June 6, and was going to return it on June 25, but when I looked at the website, it said my item had already passed the return window. VERY DISSAPOINTED

Unfortunately, it never cooled enough to be comfortable and that could be because it also generated a lot of heat from the back. The hose was always felt "hot". It was set to 68 degrees, It never went below 77.

Save yourself the trouble and money

This thing says 550sqft but is the same btu rating as the 350, it barely cools, and the window install with the hose is so bad and frustrating you will put a hole in your wall.

Waste of Money

But I was wrong, is not even good for a garage while you are doing a workout. It puts out more heat than cold air. And if you don not have a window closed o the equipment, you cant use it.
