This unit leaks, a lot. Followed all recommendations to trouble shoot, water leaks constantly. Currently we have it up over a large pan which needs to be emptied several times a day. In reading other reviews evidently this is normal. I would not purchase again.

The Frigidair 3-in-1 Portable Room Air Conditioner was packed very well. The bands easy to remove and the top and sides just slide up and off the unit. Then the unit, pick up and off the packaging base, but it's heavy. The exhaust venting and window template are well made, but still just plastic, and found they would work just fine in my vertical crank windows. The unit responds very well to the remote but it has to be pretty close, about 15 ft. There is no place on the unit to store the remote when not in use however. My last portable unit did have that so it's missed here. The manual was easy to understand and easy to follow it described the panel accurately and had a good troubleshooting guide. The app was slow to connect to the unit and to wifi and had to sign in to the app multiple times. Once connected though, it worked great. The unit cools wonderfully. Took the garage from 97 degrees down to 86 in an hour and a half. The garage is just over 500 square feet and we cool it when we're working in the woodshop area to make it more comfortable to work in. The air coming out of the unit was 66 degrees which is very nice. We vented under the garage door which means we also had to block off the rest of the bottom of the door with cardboard. Also keep in mind, the top of the door, still swung in so still letting heat in. Not ideal, but gives a good example of how well the unit did in not great conditions. If inside a house with just a window to block off, I believe the unit would do even better. When in dehuimidify mode, it only allows low fan speed and there's a connection for a hose for the condensation to drain. The unit is pretty quiet and had no vibrations or excess noises. The ionizer is a nice touch, but given we were using it in the garage, it wasn't a great place to test that feature. The filters are easily accessible and easy to clean. If we need to use this unit in a situation where our AC goes out in our house, I believe it would be great for a single room or blocked off pair of rooms.

Not great for continuous cooling. Even on cooling mode, the compressor kicks off often and just blows warm air. When the compressor is running it is does blow cold air, it just cycles too much.

I ordered this product over 1 month ago and it’s still not here! I haven’t not received an update on when it will arrive. I am very frustrated!

Used in the master bedroom (average-sized, not big), it did not keep the room cool and needed draining by the second day of use. I got a window unit that did a much better job.

The worst portable ac ever i try to be fair if i ever do a review wich i rerely do i think this is like my second or third one ever but that said horrible it had so much water pimping out of it you could have filled a lake and it didn't stay on cool it just kept short cycling and i have one of these and know how you need to operate it to make it work and this one is straight garbage and for the price!! Save yourself

Creates more heat than it cools. The design of a very thin, plastic tube to move the hot air out cause a large area of heat behind the unit, making the room have a small area where you can feel the cool air, but most of the room is filled with hot air. How hot, you might ask. Extremely hot. Even wrapping the exhaust tube with some insulation does not prevent the room from heating up. This thing is really counter intuitive.

Unit functions. The exhausted supplies are cheap, easily come apart, and are designed for windows with VERY specific measurements.

This thing is not worth the money had a 5000 btu window unit that out performed this hunk of junk to late to return for a refund money wasted

Overall, the Frigidaire 3–in-1 portable air conditioner works OK. Installation is relatively easy though the unit is heavy and bulky (get help getting it up stairs!). Connect the exhaust hose to a window to vent the hot air outside of the house. Use the Frigidaire app to connect the unit to Wifi for easy controlling. I didn't find the sound of the AC unit too loud when running. There is some noise to be expected as the unit runs. The wifi control is a nice feature I didn't think I would need, but find myself using quite frequently to turn the unit on/off and even set a schedule. There are some downsides to this unit. First, the exhaust hose is not insulated so you are effectively radiating hot air back into the room you are trying to cool. Get an exhaust hose insulation kit to help reduce the heat coming back into the room. Secondly, the window kit for the exhaust is not the best. It doesn't sit in the window well good and the seal is not great at all (even with the included insulation provided). You may save yourself some headache by getting an aftermarket insulated exhaust kit. As for cooling, the unit does put out some cold air. It cooled my smaller room (~350 sf) OK, but in a larger room, I am not sure how this unit would cool the entire room. It is rater for up tp 550 sf room, but that is likely with ideal conditions (windows not facing sun, after market insulated exhaust tube, etc.). In the end, the unit is a nice portable (use that term loosely given the size and weight of the unit).

This air conditioner has a difficult time cooling as the vent hose gets far to hot to even touch heating up its surroundings. The vent hose heats up the space much faster than the air conditioner can cool. It fights against itself. This is not a good purchase.

As some of the reviews say. Idk how it could cool down anything bigger than 400sq. Felt like it was consistenly on high to cool down the weather here in Hawaii.

Shut off constantly and leaked everywhere! I will avoid purchasing a unit from this company in the future.

This thing stopped working in under 2 years. Both fans and the compressor will run, but just outputs room tempersture air. The warranty is only for 1 year and having a technician attempt a repair is almost the same cost as buying a new unit.

The unit very quickly stops cooling, displaying error code P1 at which point we must drain it. This happens constantly and we resorted to leaving the drain port open and letting the water free drain onto an external tray and towels.

The Frigidaire Portable Air conditioner is definitely a great and flexible Air Conditioner, letting you move it around from room to room to serve your needs when the temps get hot. The reason why I chose to order this AC was because we just purchased a new home and the layout of the livingroom and diningroom did not allow for window style airconditioners and also the type of windows we have in the other rooms could not take any typical window AC's either. We saw this unit and instantly knew that we needed it. The unit has one hose and a window trim kit that is easy to install and breakdown so you can quickly move your AC around if needed. We really like the easy operation of the top panel. You can set it to different speeds or set to Auto, which is were we left it most of the time. The other great feature which we absolutley needed was the WIFI control. Setting it up took a few minutes and now we can use it to control the temps in our home while we are at work. We needed this feature mainly because our dog is home during the day and this past summer has been brutal. If WIFI is important to you then look no further. The unit cools our living room and dining room pretty well. the space together is about 400 Sq feet but its all open format so the cold air bleeds into the surrounding rooms. Im sure if this was being used in an area with closed doors it would freeze out the space. The unit has wheels on it so when your looking to move it around the house or just put it away for storage it should be no problem. But the unit does weigh about 65 pounds so if you have to lift it be sure to ask someone for help so you don't hurt yourself. As far as the loudness of the unit, I would say its fairly quiet compared to my other units in my bedroom. It is much newer and over time i do feel that Air Conditioners do get louder with age, but as of now its decently quiet. The unit has removable and replaceable filters and had a dehumidify mode which we havent used but it is capable.\ All together for the little time we have had the unit I would say its sleek and stylish and does a good job at cooling our space. Lets face it, when its hot and humid this machine will make you happy.

I put the old one back in the window. This one never shuts off. Even in automatic the fan still runs. Electric bill went up extra 100.00 didn’t even cool my rooms. My 1000 ac until cooler better than this 1200

Used a few months and stopped cooling. Would not recommend.

This did not work out for me. It was too much trouble to hook up to a window, and I dont think it was cold enough.

Purchased to cool a garage. Advertised capacity indicates that this unit should be enough to cool and keep cool the garage. Cool air comes out.. but it does a poor job of cooling the garage more than 1-2 degress F. Should've spent more money on a minisplit.
