This product does a good job to lower down the humidity to around 55% in my basement. Only thing is the capacity of the bucket is too small. I'll have to remove water every day without a pipe.

I had a roof leak and used this to help dry out the carpet and padding that got wet. Works fine. Did not try to hook up continuous drain but the auto shut off feature works as advertised. Used consistently for about 3-4 days. It's relatively quiet but the exhaust fan does blow pretty hard. It does generate some heat as well.

Dehumidifier works better than any other dehumidifier I have ever purchased. Turns off regularly when the set humidity is reached. Does not freeze up. Great product.

We have it setup in our large finished basement and are amazed at how much moisture it pulls out. The adjustable setting for humidity percentage is great.

As the title says, quiet and efficient. Very easy to set up. I would have given it 5 stars if they included a drain hose. Picked up a drain hose at a local hardware store for $8.

It's very powerful, dehumidifies an area quickly, it not too loud, and has a nice amount of different settings. It's great at what I need it to do. The only problem, and I find a problem with any dehumidifier I've ever had, is when you attach a hose for continuous draining. If flow and gravity is not just right, it doesn't work. Dehumidifier on the floor, hose to the bathroom in the tub, doesn't work. Not conducive for drainage. The process needs to be fixed.

Dehumidifier works well and is very quiet, especially on low fan speed. Nice and easy to attach garden style hose for bypassing the built-in bucket if desired.

I found this dehumidifier to have good reviews online on several sites. It is working very well and doing a good job of keeping the humidity level in our basement where we want it. I like the electronics. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because it is not as sturdy/heavy duty as the one I replaced(which was likely 25 years old). I don't think that this one will last that long but that is the way of most newer units. So far though I have no complaints.

I bought the model that this on replaces and I would bet that these 50 pints are smaller than the old 50 pints. On the other hand this air filter is more convenient to clean than the old one

Got this for a small garage in the winter. Works very well. Pulls so much out of the air. Continuous drain is awesome. Thanks Best Buy!

this dehumidifier seems very good. have been using it 3 months, and replaced an about 10 year old Sears model when the compressor started to go. This unit is quieter, and doesn't seem to get as warm. Through the summer months, it maintained a consistent, dry air quality in our basement. The fan is quiet enough that we can watch TV with it running. I was pleasantly surprised that although the unit was on (it turns the fan off when the humidity reaches a set level) it used a lot less electricity than our older unit. I would definitely buy this unit again.

Purchased for my townhouse when I moved in due to really high humidity. Within 36 hours it had changed the inside humidity from 68% down to 40%. AMAZING! I have not used the hose attachment but emptying it is a breeze. I would highly recommend this product to anyone

The larger capacity dehumidifier was recommended after three previous smaller ones failed. This has proven itself and I hope it continues.

Old dehumidifier died two days before vacation. This was the last dehumidifier at my Best Buy so I looked at reviews. One review said something about a hose connection with different threads from another country and this was untrue. I hooked up a short garden hose set it and left for two weeks. Worked Perfect. I have it set at 40 and appears to be perfect for my situation which is a half finished basement and I run Central Air. Five stars for now because I haven't seen my electric bill yet. Will update if it costs a lot more to run than my old one.

Does a good job. The only problem is easy removal of the bucket so the water can be dumped. You can adjust the setting to whatever humidity level you want.

Bought this to control humidity levels in my basement. Was running it with drainage into the reservoir for about a week. The reservoir filled up maybe 8-12 hours before having to empty it. It appears to pull between 430 and 450 watts when the compressor is running. I eventually bought a 3 ft hose for continuous drainage into a condensate pump to avoid having to manually empty the reservoir. I had to prop the dehumidifier on a crate to use the hose because it uses gravity to drain. Seems to be working well so far.

Purchased dehumidifier for the basement in our house. Followed the set-up instructions which were very understandable. Followed the initial recommended operating settings and nothing. 24 hours had the basement at 40% humidity from 85% 24 hours earlier.
