Works well -- bucket only

With continuous use while they were staying, they no longer noticed any problem. So it worked for what we needed it to do, emptying the bucket on a daily basis. However when we tried to operate it in continuous mode with a hose, the unit just continued filling the bucket. We checked the directions carefully and went through them step by step but no luck. So a conditional recommendation if you don't care about emptying the bucket.

Works great in our basement

We only run it when we are down here as the moisture doesn't build up too much. It does blow out hot air which i am not a huge fan of but a small price to pay for drier air. We have a separate humidity detector and the readings on this appliance are accurate.

great quiet dehumidifier
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Use in our basement. have to dump every other day. this has been used for 3 months, july thru september, so relatively humid months. looking forward to seeing if it runs less this winter. it turns on and off as needed, the air quality has improved after a day of use. the digital readout is nice allowing us to gauge the humidity.

It does require fairly frequent emptying as it fills up quite quickly. It had a very good rating on Consumer Reports for both quality and repairs needed. This has been the second Frigidaire dehumidifier I have purchased over the years and both have lasted well and worked well.
