It makes my basement feel from being unbearable to extremely comfortable. With the setting of 40% humidity it fills up roughly every 12 hours.

Have quite a bit of moisture in the basement and this dehumidifier keeps the mouistire at a constant manageable level.

This dehumidifier performs well. Initially had some problems getting the external drain to function, but was able to make it work after reading the instruction manual.

I didn't realize how much humidity I had in my office until I got this thing. I have a modest sized office. Don't get the smaller size. Just get the medium sized one as I believe it would simply work better. If you have higher humidity in your home or office then the water tank will fill up faster than you think. This thing really collects the water. I'm impressed and will buy another one for the upstairs part of my office. My only complaint is that it's louder than what I would care for but you get used to it as background noise.

Moisture out of the air, that is. Not enough as I'd like, though. I wish I'd have spent a few dollars more for a 70-pint model. It runs quietly but can't get the house air down to the 35% humidity setting I chose. It can't get past 40%. If you are under 1500 square feet this will probably do the job, maybe, fingers crossed.

Recently had a flooded basement; used this dehumidifier to completely dry the space and to prevent the potential growth of mold.

I was surprised how quiet this is. Does a great job in my basement. Half the size of the loud one I replaced it with, I'm happy!
