    This is one of the most affordable and reviewed product in its size. Very nice looking. I bought an open box product with decent discount. Found only one little scratch on the surface but otherwise perfect. This for my closed basement of 600 sq ft with higher moisture level. Works very efficiently to reduce humidity from 90 to 60 probably in 30 mins. very satisfied.

    I live in a very small, less than 700 square feet, mountain cabin. It faces north and is surrounded on three sides by trees. So it is damp in the summer. This unit works well and dehumidifies the entire house. It is a bit noisy, but no worse than a window AC unit. It gives off heat, but I’m at an elevation where air conditioning is not necessary except on the hottest days. I would rather dehumidify then run an air conditioner.

    I bought this one because the handle on my old dehumidifier broke while carrying it. This caused ithe unit to say bucket full and therefore wouldn't work. This model is so much sturdier. I noticed the picture in the manual shows a hand under the bucket while carrying it. Works very well taking humidity out of our basement. Only gave it 4 stars because it does throw warm air when working but I heard they all work that way. Our older model did not do that .
