It faces north and is surrounded on three sides by trees. So it is damp in the summer. This unit works well and dehumidifies the entire house. It is a bit noisy, but no worse than a window AC unit. It gives off heat, but I’m at an elevation where air conditioning is not necessary except on the hottest days. I would rather dehumidify then run an air conditioner.
