This 50-pint Frigidaire dehumidifier lasted from 8/3/2018 until October 2019. The unit no longer dehumidifies. The fan runs but compressor does not kick in. I have a Frigidaire until purchased before this one ready to take to the dump for recycling. Earlier this year I took two units to the dump, at least one was Frigidaire. These all seem to last about 1 to 2 years. There was no build up in the filter or fins.

We have a very wet basement and this has worked great at helping keep it dry. Attached a drainage hose to it so that it drains right into the sump pump

I already have 75 pint Frigidaire dehumidifier for more than five years and still working (I hove it will last more years). So far I'm satisfied the service I got.

This is the first dehumidifier we've ever owned. Seems to really be drying out our basement. We've had an awful lot of rain this year. Very pleased.

After purchasing this Dehumidifier, we were much more comfortable in our home. It reduced the need to lower the temperature in our home, therefore saving money.

It was a great dehumidifier except that it would leak on the floor until we ran plumbers tape around the fitting then it didn't leak anymore other than that it's great.

This works great. Only problem is our electric bill has gone up a decent amount since using it. It says it is energy star certified, but it definetly consumes some energy. Cools the house down nicely though.

Performs as advertised and quickly brings our basement to the desired humidity. Strength is the clarity of the control panel. Weakness - this unit is significantly louder than the unit it replaced.

works as required and expected, but does not have a handle on the dump bucket as previous model. a little difficult to slide out the bucket in order to empty it. Otherwise it is quiet and efficient.

I bought it for a basement that gets very hot in the summer because there are no windows and the last few weeks were a great test. I recommend it very highly

Bought this for our basement of newly purchased home. Been working great for the several months I've had it. No more musky or damp smells in the basement.

I purchased this item for my basement to help reduce the moisture content. So far with continuous use over the past month or so, this has been operating greatly.

Wrung out my basement air, everyday through the summer and intermittently through fall. Set the humidity level you want and let it alone.

Very reliable dehumidifier that stands up to constant use. This is my second Frigidaire dehumidifier, the first one is still going strong. I highly recommend this item if you need a new humidifier!

Have had for a few months and is working well. Very solid well built model. Purchased the service plan just in case. So far meeting our needs.

Mine lasted <3 years before it lost all it's 134A refrigerant. Same stupid engineering as the Haier unit! Guess they didn't learn that you combine copper tube & steel side plates you get galvanic reactions which erode the copper tubing! Evaporator side plates are the pitfall as this is also the source of rust in other complaints! They could have spent 2$ more and made reliable evaporators!

This Frigidaire dehumidifier seems efficient and removes a lot of moisture from our basement. It looks attractive and is relatively quiet.

It dries out a basement very quickly. It has a humidity level readout and flashing light that indicates full. I think this model will last for many years.

No complaints yet. I’ve had bad luck with dehumidifiers (they seem to break every year or so) and I’m hoping this one doesn’t.

It seem like a good machine but I didn't use it for long because I purchased the incorrect item. I meant to buy the one with the air conditioner. Overall it appears to be a good item.
