I got this as a replacement for one that had possible issues with fires. It is GREAT! I love it. Simple, works very well. It was not available for the public last year, and I bought a different Frigidaire at Lowe's, which I hated. It was like disco dehumidifier, all kinds of absurd and unnecessary LED lights. LEDs make me feel ill, not to mention they deplete melatonin and are bad for your retina. Also, the other machines created tons of dirty electricity (line noise), which is bad for your health and also bad for your appliances. This simple dehumidifier is great. It's in the basement, so the noise doesn't bother me. I am very sensitive to noise, but upstairs I am fine with it.

Long lasting but at the 6 year mark stopped working

Purchased on sale with an additional 20% off, around $159.00. The unit has been working well. Set a humidity level, say 50, it will run till it hits roughly 45. Turn off. Then monitor silently till it creeps back up to 50 then it will cycle again. Awesome unit. 800sq ft. under control in a half an hour. Very satisfied at this point. Did contact Fridgidaire for fan on/off questions and they responded very promptly. Go ahead, you won't be displeased. J.A. Brony out -

Relatively quiet and works great. Easy to use and set it at 45 level.

This humidifier works great! It stops itself once the tray is full.

On year 2.. resides in my basement on auto.. Basement gets damp in the spring and summer months.. Keeps the musty smell at bay. Nice .. easy to use.. Only issue is the drain hose is very touchy... use a cheap light weight hose...

This unit worked well for 16 months, then I got the dreaded FO error that seems to be common for these units. Luckily I bought the extended warranty. Bringing it back to Best Buy today to exchange it. You would think for over $200 it would last a little longer.

Great features with multiple fan speeds, easy to set up and use.

Bought this a few years ago and it is still working great! Beeps to let you know it’s full, let’s you know when to clean the filter. I would definitely buy it again when this one quits working!

I put the dehumidifier in the basement & it works great!

Looks good, is quiet compared to my old one, is easy to operate and well built.

Not a lot to say it does the job and works well. Only thing I don't like about it is that it never shuts off. Was under the impression that it would shut off once the desired humidity is reached.

Worked well - can either fill tank or drain hose connector. Window gives opportunity to view water level, but a bit difficult to see that water level.

Failed only after a couple of years. I never buy extended warranties but I will buy them for dehumidifiers. It seems like most of them made now days are junk. Extended warranties have replaced 2 of them for me so far.

This has been running great for almost 6 years now!

I bought this unit 1.5 years back as the builder recommended to put a dehumidifier in the basement. It worked fine and still working. However, it has developed very bad rust. The place where water drips into the container has apparent rustic color and it is getting worse. Sometimes, there is a somewhat bad smell, which may be related to the rust. I am going to call the manufacture to find out.

Don’t waste your time on this unit. Mine failed 11 months in and was only used during last summer. I called Frigidaire customer service and was told they do not repair this unit. They will not provide replacement through mail and will get back to me on how to get a replacement from a retailer without a receipt as it was a gift. Told me will have a place to exchange or buy back plan within 2 business days and to call back if I do not hear back after 3 days. That’s more than 2 weeks ago and ever since, I have been given the run around and one representative even told me she has a claim number for me that has been approved to go the Best Buy to get a replacement. Went to Best Buy and was denied a replacement. Called Frigidaire customer service in Best Buy store and was told previous representative misinformed me and that the claim is sent for reprocessing now and I will get a replacement notice in 2 days. Wonder how long before this is resolved.
